A stupid comment Colour, we are here to see progress, should things happen there so much the better but like Iran we move on and are doing very well with within those 9 States. The focal point being INDORE, ASSAM and JVVNL, all are winners and only the starting point.
I think I would have been more than happy to come upon CC at this stage of the game.

You said it precisely Colour, all companies have different valuation in that case about £600m + cash. If CC were worth that say about £3. 30m units, less than 20% of India would achieve that.
Sorry ITT, a little while ago ITT was looking at 7p, so you would have 10p takeover, what would have thought when we reached 29p, and we will shortly be back to it. Then again Colour you may not be a shareholder so pointless.

Hello jake, yes lets all get carried away, we are on AIM that is what we do. I don't think many would be as eager as you having seen where CC is approaching, I don't think your less than 2% position would be copied, once 50p came in we would all be thinking if that is the offer must be worth a lot more, that is AIM. If someone bid, the size of Itron did for SilverSpring, it would go way beyond £4. The Indian market is massive. You know it, I know it, we all know it.
Keep an eye on licensing, not pushing JC, but CC will probably need more manufacturers for that size market.
With BT, he was probably scooping up a relic at low price hoping it can be modernised.

Considering the length of time our main holders have been with us I would expect them to be looking for much much more with the future they see for CC. I do not know what price Itron paid for SilverSprings but I would be looking for an opening bid of £2 for CC. Trade is opening up, contacts made and rollouts predicted.

A great deal is going on and the GoI requirement for RF capability puts CC with INDORE in a very good position.
I think there will be a lot of attention to speed now that Smart has proved itself.
If ASSAM is rolled out quickly then other interested States will probably follow suit, if there is a standard meter from Genus etc with slot in Boards to meet RF, Cellular etc then meters could be made and stored for distribution by Intellismart enabling bulk orders without aligning to contracts and then allocated to installation sites at varying speeds.

Hello jake, I think CC is a good share from that point of view, AIM is risky that is why we are here. If I remember on the last 2 calls CC shares prices rose dramatically, so to buy back 15m but put them into cold storage could bode well for CC if it needs a top up.

The think the large orders will come shortly, don't forget we are mainly subs and therefore notifications are sometimes to follow, as with Assam. was not contract signed in Nov 21.
JVVNL is doing very nicely, I think JC put a fair amount of cash into stock for new areas and Genus is already covered by credit note. I am sure JC will still be looking at licensing which means no initial outlay and no production limit.
ITT, I think current stocks will achieve next couple of incomes so may be BOD would consider buy back.

Hello fleccy, not working for BT, I think you have a tinted glasses view. I know a person who worked there 5 years back, enjoyed the work in Frames but said ancient. I think you know where I am going with this.
On age suppose an applicant 51 covering all the Frame basic proven BT skills got rejected before interview.
I did hear they were laying off older staff.

Does the loss affect buy back into say Treasury. For arguments sake, recently CC had receipts of £8m but that was probably absorbed with stock. So if CC used 25% of say next £8m = £2m. that would buy approx 15m shares back into treasury. Is that allowed. Now is the time to do it.

fleecy, it appears that BT are taking on unskilled workers in bulk, is that to keep wages down and if you have no basic skills level (see Entry Level Frames ads) how many will subsequently be rejected, HR is a different concept to shop floor, how many trainers will all these need. 10 years a bit hopeful.
If they are only taking on youngsters will they come up against age discrimination laws. More Court cases.
BT still have a domination which was partly resolved with Openreach but will they still be broken up.

Well you lot that was a mixed bag of opinions.
BT is an old establishment that probably needs reforms. They should entertain reasonable pay requests in present climate but the unions should also allow a review of jobs, pay and responsibilities. May sound like Thatcher days but Openreach/BT must be modernised, not just the bottom but middle manager, top managers and boss to see they are giving value for money. That is the way to keep skills sets in the company.

Touching back on 3.9% that the Government allowed. I don't think it is quite right to say that there are no controls on prices. Utilities are price capped by Government. The 3.9% is at the bottom of current BT ads.
If strikers are complaining about pay this is adding to their weekly burden and I think will be struck out until family incomes improve.

Hello Crystal, if I remember correctly this annual price increase was decided before current problems and was for R&D to moderise. I was thinking todays circumstances may come first with new PM.

I have been thinking of buying but Is there any chance that the Government might rescind the 3.9% yearly amount it allows BT to charge above CPI. It must be in their minds currently.

What is the £60m, if past R&D surely that is built into the shareholding and we start from break even.
With treasury if retained and out of circulation they can be cancelled or resold at higher figure if lucky or used for other purposes.
