On CC's previous statistics 1m units was equating to £20m.
Where do your figures come from.

I feel CC will be stretched across all of the Northern States shortly.
Plus the lower states we are already in.
With all the anticipated orders I consider today should achieve 40p and possibly more today.

A thought for today.
As CC has bestowed this title on Ajoy do we know anything about the current Smart situation in America.
Obviously there is the wider spectrum of Water etc.
I think there are about 300 - 400 m people in North America but probably more households connected than India.
Could any exploits we make in US be updating existing Smart or converting with Retrofit.
I should imagine there is a very good market, and possibly South America still.
As Colour says Ajoy's got a very good background.

Is it not that rural areas are the problem, most companies being able to deal with urban buildings ( apart from high rise etc).
So a deal would probably include both elements. As we/I have said many times Smart Comms/HES makes a smart meters and CC have both which are very reliable on all occasions. I think we all agree on the Intellismart partnership, could turn CC into a big company.
I was looking at EDF a couple of days ago, is it right that they can only raise by prices by 4% in France. If so all their profits are going to come from whacking the UK. Also that France is buying electricity from Germany.
You read these things, are they true.

I would go along with that if it was an labour intensive company.
As CC has said in the past most our work like manufacturing, installing etc is done by others.
Although it would not necessarily happen in the future CC have given a past ratio of 1m units earnings = £20m.
So like most software companies the future is sales not production, I think JC realises that the last year has seen CC top up with many staff. I think that is sufficient plus the occasional contract specialists.

As you say Colour this could well fit in with his background. Possibly looking at setting up CC in USA, may like living there. I believe most of America has Smart but is it the right Smart, may be CC could be the next generation as there are distances to cover over there.. Also SEW are mainly water so opportunities there.
I'm getting carried away but that coupled with India volume could turn CC into a £1bn+.
If that came to pass together with Africa etc it is not unrealistic.

Point taken ITT, I have only a few remaining individuals. Never did like Funds though, especially when they restricted removal on occasions. Older Funds way back were diehards and sat on their hands a lot.

Hello LTI, cannot be very long now.
I know we have a very slightly different opinion of RF requirement but would CC not logically go for all tenders.
I say this in that CC can do all platforms, there may be occasions when RF not required but did not the GoI set a standard that all meters have to be RF capable in all applications. Could be wrong on this and you may have already corrected me but this is irritating me, is RF a requirement or not.

I mentioned previously how Intellismart's contracts were stretched across the North States (see map P36).
CC have fingers in the pie all over India, so our partnering up with Intellismart is opening us up to volume but equally opening Intellismart up to other States and with a very proven Smart Comms to sell with.

These funds are taking a mighty long time.
You probably have a couple of weeks, most of us know its just a matter of a short wait.
Trouble is one good contract of those in passage and CC will probably be back to 30p, some jump, can't you lend a few bob, LOL.

I bet Gov regret Combining Openreach and BT again.
From a Control point of view I would have done a British Rail and made Openreach an Agency of Government (basically nationalised) controlling the Network like Nat Grid. and set BT apart as an ordinary private company.
BT could then have negotiated normally.

OK Colour that's fine. You are in, so it is not in your interest to heavily knock CC.
Perhaps we can all look forward to a lift off of say 40p to 50p. just on possibilities.
LTI, I would like to see CC remain with shareholders as I feel a good run ahead.
Earlier I said I thought it would pay the big 3 manufacturers together to buy 51% of holdings.
This guarantees their Smart and opens it to others to adopt t as India Standard.
I do not think Itron can do that. It would please GoI and make money for the consortium.
Always buy favours.
Smart Comms is the key to smart energy.
