Level?...
Can anyone give me a couple of Bergen success stories..In my experience they've been associated with share price decline ( not necessarily their fault)? Anyone?
Only a week or so to go till end of consultation period. Anyone have a feel for when we will hopefully get go ahead? The company should also be well on the way to agreeing the take off agreement and with possible finance... Interesting times ahead...
Northern Rock went to the wall, most shareholders were from the north east, all the other banks were saved..With taxpayers money, especially the big boys. Now Sirius goes to the Wall with a similar PI shareholder base... Irrespective of the goings on does anyone really think if the mine was in Essex it wouldn't have been a different story? It would take a lot to convince me otherwise... I've lost a substantial amount but on the other hand my family has profited through employment on balance as a family we're even, it could have been so much better though...Onwards and upwards, GLA etc etc...
How posts regarding green selling all his shares but one and then voting no and my comments regarding his selfishness have been removed. But a nerve did we!
Has been a success story as far as progress is concerned, but a nightmare given our current situation. The original estimate was for just under 20m per day, I believe it's nearing 30m. The probable consequence is that the payment profile has been way off target and Sirius have been hemorrhaging cash as a consequence.... Whoever did the sums at the beginning got it wrong, the machine could do up to 60m in ideal conditions...
several months ago staff were given up to 20% bonus to stay on till end of march, not sure why that date is significant? They also have share options where the number awarded is dependent on date of first poly. I suspect the latter will have to be honoured under tupe arrangements. I'm still holding.
Sunak? you would be better trying to convince Cummings....
Doing double the expected rate of around 17m/d. Well ahead of schedule, as reported in previous RNS.
WW, no arguments from me. I was just clarifying probable situation. From a very personal family perspective hope they do pay them out automatically if the deal goes through as is. Better for me if it doesn't go through though...
The money set aside for staff relates to share incentives awarded as part of their annual appraisals and so I assume are now part of their contract of employment. The one I'm aware of related to the date of first production. I doubt it will be paid in full given what has happened. GLA ETC ETC
I was learning to play the Oud (?). Then apparently Victor Kiam turned up and we're shafted... $600m is short change to sovereign funds who must be looking for long term returns...hmmmmm. Holding on to my hat for the present....GLA ETC ETC
CF wanted them as a strategic partner, gave them access to the books and they decided to become "Victor Kiam"...Lets hope there's a bidding war...
Not the situation I was expecting... Perhaps the first shot in a bidding war? Who knows....
Thinking of taking Qatar lessons, sorry I mean guitar lessons.....;-)
We got 600m with no dilution, any views on the share price? Incidentally I have stayed strong and bought a few more... Whatever happens I know my family have and will continue to prosper and all because of SM. :-)
"Just got back from the guided tour, very enjoyable , had the opportunity to speak to those on the ground. I was impressed by the general optimism of the workforce. Had quite a chat with the Tunnel Engineer and the TBM is designed for 60M per day but he suggests that it will probably operate at around 60%. It will operate for 20 hours per day with the remaining 4 hours for daily maintenance. It will stop every 250M to allow installation of "semi-permanent" conveyor belt and utilities"
The tunnel engineer obviously knows what he's doing!
Cliff, your grandkids will be proud! Kernob...
