Dropped the bid on a few mini sells to try and stem the rise, quite a poor attempt really, some chunky buys coming in now.

All joking aside, since the AGM where members of the board hung to their jobs by the skin of their teeth and promised greater communication, we've had one RNS stating we didn't invest in a company at a discounted rate but kept our diluted shares in that same company. Seriously need to up their game on the PR front. Portfolio actually doing okay with potential to boom, why are they not singing it from the rooftops?

Thing I cant get my head round is if you're not buying at 26.5p then why are you not selling at 40p plus. Are they locked info some reason? Literally madness. "Want to be some more of our shares at 26.5?" " No thanks don't think they're worth that much, we will hang on to the ones we own at the moment though, you know, the ones we could sell for 40p".

True, I suppose the flip side is that. Still the big sells come in wiping out any momentum created by smaller steady buys.

So Cornerstone did a placing at 26.5p crashing our investment in them down from 42p, and we were not even involved in getting the cheap shares. Do our BOD even bother talking to the companies they invest our cash in? The point of investing in the likes of Vela is they supposedly get an inside track we as PIs don't have access to. All I can see at the moment is companies taking Velas cash and keeping them in the dark.

Yes, fantastic performance from our investments on the whole, makes it all the more astounding that the value of our holdings are down 80% in a few months. Great entry point for new investors, BOD just need to start doing their job on the PR and communications side. They allowed this to become all about SGS then stopped telling us about it, hardly any surprise its dropped. They need to up their game.

get wiped out by one or two large sells every single day. IMHO this is the same, big seller exiting. Why no TR1? Suppose the silver lining is that once they stop the buys will probably outweigh the sells.

Yep, and other documented holdings getting us up there to Mcap and beyond. Does make me wonder why all the large sells still, together with a lack of TR1s. Personally don't think SGS or whoever bought them, or now holds them on their behalf is out yet. But that's just my opinion.

You appear to have trouble reading Coastliner. I haven't had a response from the company, despite several emails sent to them. SP down again, but I guess in your world of unicorns and candy floss you regard this as great performance from our BOD.

I have contacted the company on several occasions with no reply. Why don't you concentrate on the performance of the sp, the lack of communication regarding our biggest investment and the seemingly out of touch response from the BOD.

Yep, no probs. Just think it bears repeating that what some may take as negative or deramping is actually designed to have a positive outcome. Its a matter of opinion on the consolidation, I personally believe they would have dropped it another 10% if we had opened today at 1.7, so Im glad that was voted down, but I think we can all agree that if this shot across the boughs motivates better (or any) communication, its been worth it.
