Problem is, when do they admit defeat on SGS? They can keep on saying they are in discussions till the cows come home, while at the same time drawing salaries for making dud investments. Having said all that if it goes much lower its worth a buy just for a random bit of good news.

This includes the use of e-wallets for payments of purchases or transferring funds to/from other parties within the e-money ecosystem, both of which are areas in which the Group already has operational experience in Malaysia. The decision from the FCA in respect of the submitted application is expected to be received in the 2nd quarter of 2022 and, if approved, the Group will be able to expand its business activities into the UK."

Reactions to bad news exaggerated. Unfortunately (or fortunately if you're looking to buy in and are patient) this will set any placing at 15-17p and with the new shares leant out to allow shorting this will drop to 12p ,or 10p if they burden the raise with warrants. In a years time probably back up to 50s so major opportunity buying in low teens. All imho.

My prediction is they will come back with another placing proposal and say its that or go bust, blackmail being the final recourse. Can anyone seriously see them getting cash anywhere else. God knows what price.

Top, yeah very marginally better than wondering if negotiations were ongoing or failed. On September 9th last year this was the comment in the RNS "In light of the encouraging trial results, St George Street Capital will immediately start to undertake commercial discussions with potential licensees ". I don't really know how yesterdays RNS tell us anything more than its taken us 6 months to achieve nothing, but we haven't given up yet. Hardly a vindication of the decision to invest?

This line in the RNS should tell you everything you need to know . No timescales, no numbers, literally an RNS that says nothing apart from we are still seeking a partner/ buyer for the product (well just so long as we don't stop saying we are looking that could last forever). Purely and simply a tetchy response to shareholder criticism. Hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic.

commercial talks are either ongoing or the company is breaking Stockmarket rules by not issuing an RNS to inform us of the result.. A mute point is whether a "pause" in talks requires an RNS. I have seen a few occasions where deals have fallen through and not been reported because they were "on hold" and not "lost". This of course begs the question "how long do they get?" Could be in the same position in two years time in theory.
