NAV on morning star 1894p. Obviously a marked improvement, presumably associated with fall in the pound post Brexit. Interesting that it is only in the last couple of days we have seen increase in share price; maybe ahead of a RNS that someone expects or knows should move the market? Certainly its not the wider market which is flat. Discount is still at 27%, and for the PINR its 36%. Have taken the opportunity to increase my holding. The share price hasnt risen in the PINR for sometime despite the rise in NAV, The discount is now greater that at anytime I have seen it since the the aftermath of 2008. I wish I had invested more then; I expect that I will be making the same statement in a year or so.

Note 1200p is the Buy, 1050p to sell

Reply to myself. NAV 1730p, SP1200 even a better buy than 6mths ago. Admittedly SP is down but NAV is what really matters in the long run and that's up 5%. Hopefully a property sale this week will give me some spare cash to increase my holding.

Reviewing my last post I clearly imputted an incorrect NAV. Current NAV 1730p A huge discount especially when it is sitting on £110million in cash. The Pinr is buy at 1200p though I note in the last RNS pin was buying up its Pinr ar 1150p, and helping with the NAV. There has been a bounce back after the post Xmas sell off, hopefully this will be reflected in the NAV. Fascinating that there appears so little interest in PIN given its record and discount. More opportunity to add to my holding at a lower share price than last year at a greater discount.

Global shares are down, and pin are too, but over sold. They don't hold drillers or miners and the NAV is 1297p. Discount now over 28% and nearly 31% on the Pinr. It's a rare opportunity to pick up stock in a IT that has such a pedigree.

est nav on morningstar 1,644, price 1,232.5, just bought some more at 1,240. Nice discount, 25% and holding over £152 million in cash means than the discount on shares is probably 33%, or £3 in shares for every £2 at risk.

I will reply to myself a year or so on. pinr shares now 1237.5p, so not a bad year, but currently a 24% discount on the redeemables. I still dont see a better long term investment, with a company with long term performance and such a wide discount. I will hold on, and mainly with the pinr

A great shame, there are some good parts to this business. Fortunately didnt have much in, but first time I have had a company go bust on me.

Well a year on and the discount has narrowed, with share price on the redeemable up from 1070p to 1285p Still at a slight discount to pin. I dont really see why they dont convert the pinr to pin. underlying nav has increased 1385 to 1534 over the year, so still a reasonable discount, and PIN continues to do a good job of finding good investments.

The potential upside is high from these levels. The capitation of this company is about 1.7million which will not buy you much in London! This could go up several fold Or bankrupt??.. I don't think so, but you never know. At these levels a strong buy, risk but worth the risk

Never to happy to see redundancies, they could help bottom line but would rather see growth in sales and profits instead

The discount is still wider than it should be for such a great investment company, but the discount between PINR and PIN has narrowed to nil, though the spread on PINR is still wide. Surely the obvious thing with no difference in the discount is to convert PINR to PIN. The market capitation would be seen as being bigger, and the shares more tradeable.

Numbers look OK, considering the major re-structuring they have undertaken. Peat Free is still 2020?, they have gone early. But looks a good business, looks like I will have to put some away in my wifes pension fund. With the spread its not an in and out; not thats my interest anyway. There is a lot of interest in ethical companies. If it gets its self of the naughty list and on to the nice list there could be significant buyers that could push price up quickly. Any nasty bits floating around ??

I came across this company while looking for a specialist perlite product for an Eco build, but it looks interesting as an investment. What do you think the upside is? .. The warrants could slow upside above 80p Has reached the bottom?

have usually held PIN, but the discount is so wide I am sure something will have to happen in November AGM to address it, but especially for the PINR. 25% discount, and that is when it has £80+million in cash. The stock it holds is essentially £3 of stock for £2. No brainer, I will continue to hold, and hold.

PINR are over 22.5% discount, with the same NAV as the shares. So why doesn't the company just buy back PINR? It will find it hard to find a better investment.
