Sorry Baron but I bought in December 2005 @ 4.25p. Wonder what that would be worth if I had bought something like Perssimon instead? But then again I could have put it into a company that went into liquidation. So you have to look on the bright side.
Seems Volkwagen are now taking orders for their T-Roc Cabriolet.
Among the arsenal of driver assistance systems included in the Design trim Cabriolet is a driver alertness monitor with fatigue detection.
I wonder who is supplying that?
Anyone going to a VW dealership today?
A very interesting program on National Geographic last night , telling of the problems of fatigue affecting airline pilots, particularly the smaller provincial airlines in America.
Many of these pilots are not on high salaries and so can not afford the best accommodation to get a good nights sleep between flights, sometimes sleeping in bunkbeds, ten to a room, before starting work again. Not the best of conditions to get a good nights sleep.
It showed a clip of a pilot actually nodding off in his seat, mid flight, not sure if the co-pilot was awake.
Another pilot being interviewed stated how he had nodded off and woke up to find that his co-pilot was also asleep.
This was screaming out (in fact I was almost screaming out, that we can help) for Seeing Machines technology and I am hoping that in the next few days there will be an RNS informing us that they have got the go ahead to start sorting this problem out before something nasty happens.
