The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
This morning AVACTA announced a trial of their technology designed to bring a major positive step change in the treatment of cancer has been successful enough to continue to the next phase of the trial. Just saying.
Whooohoooo Avacta has just gone supersonic, we broke the pound barrier!! Those sat near the exit doors, the captain orders you to keep your seatbelt fastened!!!
Your not alone
Not been here for a few days so apologies if i missed the discussion on this but seeing more articles like the one below suggesting nasal only rapid tests are not detecting Omicron early enough and therefore the user of the test should be instructed to do a throat swab. Is this a problem with the Avacta test also or with better detection at lower viral loads could this give Avacta a huge advantage?

BBC reporting shortfall of LFT tests, let them know about AVCT by emailing the above address, lets flood them with AVCT emails so they can't miss it
Thank you MrA
I humbly apologise. I've had my fun with them dopes now, the coffee is wearing off. Could someone repost the greenbox declaration and I'll sign up to it. I genuinely support a board for useful links and information.
Ok Whingedrum lets go through this...
You say posting "objectively" on here helps but when the objective is helping to raise the value of Avacta then posting on here doesn't help anything... So what is your objective?
You say positive advertising (or ramping as you call it) creates a bubble if not supported by a good product, I would argue that Coca-Cola and McDonald's value mostly comes from the "ramping" of their product rather than the quality of it but more importantly i would argue that Avacta DOES have a/multiple very good products to support any SP... If you don't think so why are you invested here??
And finally "(and calling people names, apart from displaying your childish nature, does nothing for your argument.)" calling me childish in the same sentence as lecturing against calling people names quite frankly sums you up, a hypocritical t*** that im engaging with purely for entertainment and to advise any newbies here not to take you seriously but I do also fully support the many many people here that have you blocked.

Whingedrum "So if the CEO of Coca Cola lied, then that would be good would it?
At some sage rather than suggesting someone is a moron you might realise that an objective look at a company's prospects is more helpful then just deciding if a comment is "negative" or "positive""
I guess that depends on what YOUR "objective" is? Have you ever seen a Coca-Cola advert objectively showing how terrible it is for your teeth or how it will make you fat? No because that doesn't drive up the companies value, which is their objective, instead they tell you how good their product is gonna make you feel. Same with McDonalds etc...
And here's the clincher... Unlike above mentioned companies, Avacta is on the cusp of saving and/or millions of lives through uniquely innovative diagnostics AND therapeutics! All the more reason to do what we can to drive the value up and help the company along, because invested financially or not, we all (the world) have a potential stake in the success of this game changing company.
Ndn71 "Yes, it’s great the SP has reacted positively, but like you I hope its not a spike ( like the last 3 times) and the momentum is maintained." If this is your hope then explain how putting a negative spin on things will help your cause? If you were CEO of Coca-Cola you would tell the world how terrible Cola is for your teeth and then claim you were doing your best for the company and you really do want it to do well. Clearly hogwash. Either your not actually interested in AVCT doing well or you are an utter moron, which is it?
Or is Abingdon riding the Affidx wave? Hmm....
Toukankahmoon "IMO and my opinion only Avacta have decided it’s more important to spend their energies on getting AVA6000 to market quickly than being distracted by the never ending obfuscation with Covid tests.
Just saying. And I really hope I’m wrong."
Why do you hope your wrong? If successful AVA6000 will be worth more than the LFTs by multiple powers of 10. Its only if your in this for quick buck that you would be disappointed with that, the LTHers in this for a mega return should be thrilled they are focusing on AVA6000, if it's taking all their attention then something exciting is happening.
"Lets advertise how Coca Cola is really bad for your teeth" - Said no Coca Cola CEO ever because they have a vested interest in the company and want it to do well.
Nearly at 3/4 million already on HL
How did you find this website EnergyShares? I cant see a link to medusa19lifesciences.com on Medusa19.com (their official website). Why are they extending their domain name? Seems suspicious :/
Can we go back to talking about Avacta being the UK sovereign test again, that was fun. Good times.
As a naive new investor could someone explain to me whether AVACTA listing on Nasdaq would be a good or bad thing for current investors?
Usually when Avacta announce good news the SP drops, so that the SP has barely moved today makes me feel encouraged ;)
Myles McNulty can only make an educated guess at whats going to happen with the SP just like the rest of us, so claiming he's a genius if he's getting rich or naive if he's getting poor from the current volatility is ridiculous. But i would argue that he is certainly more educated in this field than myself (he has access to Avacta management being one reason and im a novice investor compared to his CV) and based on your posts he's far more educated than a lot of you, so if your not interested in what he has to say not only will you forever be less educated but your also a fool. ;)
