I would like to see the financial results for YE 24 show some positive improvements to go alongside the plethora of regular announcements about all the good "social, diversity and responsibility" work of the group. As a modest private investor, I feel overlooked and neglected. I shall be hugely surprised if there's any good news tomorrow ! Hey ho.

I don't post very often on this site, but I do keep an eye on a few of my investments. I am puzzled by the list of recent trades showing today. I made a modest purchase of BWNG 1,854 shares at lunchtime for a value of £493.81. This was a PURCHASE yet it shows on the listing as a SALE ! Can anyone offer any insights into why this is the case ?

Does anyone have a view on the potential impact this might have on the direction of travel for the SP post the 2nd September ? Looking at the performance of the 13 new entrants back in June (10th), 12 of them dropped the day after (!!), albeit the FTSE 250 and FTSE 100 indices dropped as well - (3.7% and 4.1% respectively).

Any thoughts on what level of dividend might be approved IF one is announced later this year ?

I am a former supplier of 3PL services to Hovis and have been a shareholder for around 7-8 years. My first post !!! Noticed the Tilbury grain terminal fire which will reduce capacity in the short/medium term. Knock on effect to milling and in turn supply chains to bakeries. Not sure on how this impacts on Hovis, but it will have some impact either directly or indirectly. One to watch.
