More to think about./ Food for thought.
I feel that our share price is being played with right now, and before we list in the USA. investors will pile in here and take burfords share price way past £5 and towards £6+ or more. That's just my ordinary private investors assessment/ guess,
I'm guessing a lot of private investors are concerned about the historical global recession heading our way, and what impact that would have , and especially on burford and it's global business model, and yet burford after it gets over the initial worldwide lockdown , should be one of the very few businesses that will significantly benefit from this historical pandemic and recession, the indicators for that will be in the near term a significantly needed capital or funding injection, when we see that indicated by burford , then we know the result from that will be a another 60% profit gain from the lawsuits settlements.
This extra workload is virtually guaranteed, as all past recessions resulted in this outcome, throw in a historical once in a 300 year recession and you have the mother of all litigation lawsuit workloads, and that very possibly means historical profits for burford.
"Warning" never ever buy or sell on hype or share ramping or de-ramping, always buy with extreme caution and due diligence. TB

I have instructed my broker to make that vote , they stated it might be tight to get that vote in , even if they can get it in, though I'm not to concerned as burfords institutional holders alone should ensure everything gets passed , I could be wrong so please everyone get on to their broker's please.I
Burfords share price is trapped in a charting range and basically controlled by serious speculative day traders, they are make a killing from our share yoyo moving share price, this normal gyrating pattern has no correlation to what burford is going to achieve in the near future , business wise, what's going to propel the share price upwards to £8/£10,
The near future and the constant RNS posting of lawsuit wins, it won't be long before we get that confirmation of the recent settlements receipts of money coming back to us in the hundreds of millions of pounds, we know that's coming ok,
we then have the Volkswagen case, that's again virtually money in the bank.
Does anyone actually think the American stock market would put burford on a PE of 6 by the time we get all this good news that's coming our way, I'm 100% bloody sure we won't, this stock will be prized in the states, getting the opportunity to get in on massive Lawsuit cases and settlements, the opportunities are absolutely enormous, the workload from this monumental depression should increase /3/4/5 fold , the extra funding will be found ok, the finance world will queue up to lend us the extra money, we have the experience and legal knowhow and they have the need to make money. A mutually acceptable arrangement. What our share price does now is nothing to what it's going to do when we list in the USA , the American stock market will gorge itself on our shares, leaving very little for a free float, and that means a much higher share price, next year or even late this year our dividends may even resume, as burford may understand the full impact of the pandemic and recession on the company.
Loads to look forward to, and a proper pricing of burfords potential and shares in the USA.
DYOR, WARNING, never ever buy or sell on any posters hype or companies ramping or deramping.

Amica1. Thank you sir for posting that important information.
Gla
JC Warren buffet sold because he" stopped " his investment because of any potential current or future " loss " thus the term stop -loss, Warren Buffett also had a stop -loss on his Tesco shares, because he felt it was a huge mistake, thus his stop-loss in that investment.
GLA
Pennylots try not to post before your properly awake. I'm still trying to decipher your post.
GRAMMER you do have a point there ok LOL, I sometimes read my post back with embarrassment , I really should proof read them first.
It's difficult to know what burford will do today. !
GLA
Thanks for that JC, yes I also seen that information on the advfn forum, it's a great peace of news, Volkswagen will pay up ok.
Warren buffet, yes it was 10 years and not 5 years as I said, but he does operate a stop loss ok, he just recently used his stop loss system on all of his American airlines shares, in fact he sold everything he has.
GLA
Pennylots they might have decided to buy more shares every so often at strategic points in the year. Or not.
I was surprised at today's roller coaster share price movement, I feel our share is still in the hands of opportunistic bear raids,
Muddy waters will cause that in a companies shares long after their own bear raids, preying on nervous investors memories of last year's event's.
As Warren Buffett says if you wouldn't buy and hold a companies shares for 5 years then don't hold onto them for 5 minutes.
And I can honestly say burfords shares are worth holding onto for at least 5 years, at the moment our shares are being played with, and not being traded fairly by the market, burford is a excellent long term buy and especially at this ridiculous Low shreb price, The market manipulation going on here is sadly holding burford back from trading at its fair price of around £8 ,
That will change soon, as I've said before it takes time, a lot of time to come back from that bashing from the muddy waters hit.
Burford will regain that lost trust again, just like nearly every company that's went through hard times, money talks, when the market sees burford consistently bringing home the profits from substantial Lawsuit settlements it will act appropriately, and put our shares on a premium to its peers. Our listing in the USA should change everything, but in the mean time we are hostage to market gyrations and manipulation by bear raiders and market makers. Just one of the perks of being a listed publicly owned company. Tomorrow could bring anything, another dip or red retrace or a spectacular rise to £10 .
As I've already said here, just remember what Warren Buffett said, and yes I would be more than happy to hold this share for 5 years or more, and that definitely means it has fantastic potential and prospects ahead. A strong long term hold on my books.
DYOR, and as we've seen here today buy with extreme caution and due diligence.
GLA
Yes I am very excited about the USA listing, given a reasonable amount of time and lawsuit wins coming in burford should really fly . Though you won't think it looking at the swings created by the daily day traders here LOL.
YES please DYOR and never trust anyone's hype ever, buy with extreme caution at all times, GLA
Time.will.tell. thanks for that kind endorsement. And welcome.
Yes I agree I do come across as a hype type of poster or ramping a share up or whatever anyone wishes to call it.
Though this comes from my belief that why own a share if your not really enthusiastic about owning that or any given share.
It doesn't make sense to me. If you think a company has good or great prospects, then say it loud and clear so that other investors take note and do there own due diligence and decide if they agree with you.
As to whether any particular company can be completely trusted is a matter of many variables, to many to list here LOL.
I want burford to prove to me it can be trusted from now onwards, muddy waters had some serious points to make ok, but it's quest to make money on the back of its own damaging reports leaves it looking like a surgeon going into a operating theater with a swinging machete , muddy waters is making itself right or wrong a judge JURY and executioner. Burford were wrong on several accounting practices ok, but that doesn't give muddy waters the right to literally try to destroy and basically ruin a decent lawyer based litigation funding company , as muddy waters desperately tries to make as much money as possible from its attack on burford. Hopeful it's all behind burford now, though burford simply can't afford to slip up anywhere in its accounting strategies.
Burford is a complicated company to understand ok, but once you understand and get its business model, then you can appreciate it's true opportunity for huge growth and future earnings potential.
To be honest I found it hard to understand at first, nothing seemed to make to much sense , at one / several points I was giving up understanding and investing in it, but the high potential of a spectacular share price rise from these levels is far to tempting to just let it go, so now I understand most things ok, and now I've made a serious amount of money so far/ so far LOL.
I agree with you competition will always be at burfords door , but I can't stress enough , All these smaller litigation financiers
dont come anywhere near the amount of Litigation lawsuits burford is funding, I also can't emphasise enough just how much work there's out there, but here's the beauty in burfords business model, they can take on loads of cases they know they will loose, because in a particular parcel of lawsuits ,they can take on X amount of loosers when they know they will win with the overall parcel of lawsuits, they can do that to get that parcel of cases and still make a great profit.
You probably already know that. T.W.T , but there are others out there that might be unaware of that huge potential, and in doing that the litigation funders / burford can truly help law firms speed up the whole litigation process, without us they would all have to apply for legal aid or other 3rd party funding, and most litigants don't want to use there own money
Remember were Amazon started from in 1997 and listing at $18 but by the end of its first day it was $24 .
it also secured funding from 3rd parties just like ourselves. From the sovereign wealth fund and others. We need that funding to really get started.
I'm not going to say we will grow just like Amazon, but here's the similarities, we definitely are one of the first companies in the world to recognize that lawsuit litigation needs quick and even substantial funding, this market is absolutely massive in legal and monetary terms, there's a even space for new entrants as the market and workloads available are exponentially growing at a breathtaking rate. We are the leader and number one funder of Litigation in the world, Amazon seen it's opportunity and took it, it's arguably the best in the world at what it does, that's where I see burford in a few years time, a one stop litigation funder , funding and selling legal services in every country in the world. The biggest and the best , with a company valuation to match that position, I believe they can achieve that well, yes they seriously needed to sort out there SHI# . I believe they are well placed to grow into something very substantial in the coming years, there funding offers are on the desks of practically every large law firms in the USA, and even around the world, this can grow to practically every small law firm around the world, the growth opportunities can resemble Amazon's opportunities and growth. This market really is that big. Lawyers want upfront cash in there hands funding, that's whats driving this market, a funding need,
So as I say that £26 Liberums price target might look very low in just a few years time.
DYOR, and please always buy with extreme caution and due diligence.
GLA
There's a long way to go to get near Liberums target price of £26 , and another way of looking at it is , that there's a massive amount of room for error here, surly sooner or later burford must be looking at revisiting those highs of nearly £18 , why not , the lawsuit workloads will increase substantially during this recession, when we see these coming lawsuit wins come in this year , this share will Increase substantially , and might even surpass those historical highs when we list in the USA, give burford a year or two and I'm confident the American market will value burford at a premium to its revivals.
To be Frank , nobody actually knows the level of lawsuits burford wants to take on during this recession, most of the workloads presumptions comes from past recessions, this recession is going to be like nothing else in history, so the work load may be like nothing else in our last history, hence my prediction that burford will ask for, or be offered a much higher amount of lawsuits litigation funding from 3rd parties, with burford keeping that 60% of settlement profits,
DYOR, always buy with extreme caution and she's diligence.
Or to put it another reasonable way , 90% of yesterday's buying were from investors who see this at £5 by Friday or shortly afterwards, and then going on strongly to see £8 and £10 respectively.
DYOR, always buy with extreme caution and due diligence.
I see molot and bogart purchased those shares yesterday, now that's what I call confidence building, "excellent" now can we get this share over the £5 mark by Friday, and on its way up to around £8 to £10 .
DYOR, and always buy with extreme caution,
GLA
believe burfords share price will come back from last week's hit from investors chronicle neutral buy signal, and get too and past that £5 Mark again, and even then the share is still seriously undervalued.
GLA
Bond holders they accepted the bonds instead of hard cash, for all the obvious reasons, peso and scary inflation, our case will be a court judgement that has to be settled in dollars or by negotiations with Argentina, we don't want bonds , but we might be willing to take several hundred million in dollars etc, it will all be negotiated and settled so we end up with something that has some tradable monetary value, we don't have to accept any type of bonds whatsoever, or burford can simply ask the judge for a freezing order on Argentina assets around the world where America has any influence, and that's nearly everywhere. Assets can easily be frozen and burford are the experts to know how to achieve that aim, though to be fair burford will leave this as a last resort option, they will skilfully come to a amicable mutually beneficial settlement..
The Argentina case has already payed for itself, anything else is just a bonus.
GLA
They are probably stresses out of there minds around being in a lockdown and cut off from all there usual pleasures, I'm sure right now owning more shares is the last thing on there minds, this if they said they will spend there bonuses on burford shares then I'm sure it's only a matter of time then until they buy those shares.
I'm well in profit again today, though anything t can happen in this game.
Burford will fly when it hits the American stock market, they will love this shares potential.
Good luck all.
Always buy and sell with extreme caution when investing.
Another thing, institutional holders will be given orders now to turn X amount of it's holdings into cash, so we have to factor that into the daily buying and selling here.
I'm not really concerned at all around what's happening to other companies shares, because burford is profiteering from this terrible situation the world is in,
There will be winners and losers and burford just happens to be in the right place at the right time, and that must mean substantial profits ahead, that Petersen case has already been won in any right minded thinking lawyers head. Argentina is only stalling It's way to a settlement, It's only a case of getting the substantial fees back and a half decent settlement, yes the world and most countries will struggle with finances, and yes Argentina will find this difficult, then they shouldn't have taken other people's properties away from them/ oil companies shares. It's a open and shut case when we get finished with the appeals, though burford is a first class expert in this field, so I'm sure they will cut a decent settlement from Argentina.
Always always buy with extreme caution after she diligence,,,,,, GLA
I came back in at 410p + myself ,,,LOL,, , the investors chronicle article can really hit sentiment, and more than you would imagine , even if it was just a neutral buy on burford, burfords credibility is fragile after all the bashing its been getting,
The bad press will change , 99% of the time it always does,
This pandemic and resultant recession will bring substantial business to the likes of auction companies, they will make a absolute fortune, another will be litigation funding companies, we've mostly all seen the incredible increases in this area of Law and growth in litigation funding,
Manolete PLC has already been handed a massive increase in it's 2020 litigation workload, All the other companies and including litigation capital and other small companies will be flooded with work,
I'm going to make a prediction,,,,,,, I genuinely think burford will have its funding substantially increased by the S.W.F. = Sovereign wealth fund, and by hundreds of not billions of pound's, to put it simply burford will have so much work it will either then turn it away or seek substantial and fresh funding, this will be like a licence to print money,
The important thing here, is that the funding of Litigation is changing dramatically all around the world, if you've got a good solid case your lawyer will put it into a package of other solid good lawsuits to make up a great parcel of lawsuits for that law firm to approach burford with, our team goes over it establishes if it's a solid all round case on paper , and hey presto you've got a funded case, no legal aid applications or taking on loans by any parties, it's quick efficient and it's why nearly every law firm in America and most of the world are availing of this new type of service,
I genuinely believe burford will be a must hold stock when it hits the American stock market, it normally only takes around 4 to 6 weeks to get a USA listing,
Yes this accounting problem needed sorting out and it has been sorted out, All Buford need now is time to come back and prove it can deliver substantial amounts of cash for its investors and private funders, remember something that I think is very important, these other private funders we have are getting all their money back with a great rate of return, if they weren't do you honestly think they would hang around invested in burford, absolutely no way , there money is safe ok , and we can benefit with a 60% cut of the profits using there money, how fantastic a business opportunity is that then, the workload later this year will increase Substantially, and as we show the profits and cash flow coming back into burford, and when that's seen by the markets , burford share price will soar way beyond most people's expectations.
Burford is in a unique position, it's the biggest litigation funder in the world , and cheery picking the best cases put to them.
That's why Liberums £26 share price forecas
