Sudnal Burford will return too and surpass yesterdays £4.97p high, why did burford spectacularly rise yesterday, because the fundamentals are all still there , for burford to make £2 £3 £4 hundred million or more in the next few years, for a share that will eventually hit and surpass that Berenberg Banks price target of £8.20p .
Investors were happy to pay up to that point yesterday , and then profit takers and more media coverage of muddy waters new allegations, that set of circumstances alone would make investors take profits, though they will evaluate everything, and start building there positions for the next several years, as burfords profits should be the highest since its listing.
I'm much more than confident burford will build a respectable world leading platform worthy of a premium valuation to its nearest rivals.
Companies in the USA don't generally buy burford shares on the AIM now , they can buy them if they are held in another companies share holding accounts, and arranged by another USA share buying broker. Investors generally don't like to many complications when buying shares, when we list in the USA. X amount of institutional and private investors will naturally buy burfords shares, and that should increase the awareness and desirability of burfords shares, that's in theory, in practice anything can happen really, though in the long run I genuinely believe that the Americans will like our litigation funding business model proposition. And that really could mean a significant re-rating of our share price and valuation.
Playing devil's advocate, muddy waters could take another swipe at us , though I feel burfords position to not engage any more with MUDDY waters is the correct thing to do, believe me MUDDY waters needs to make more money to pay It's employees, and they will be actively hunting for their next unwary victims. If we engage in a slanging match anymore we will stay on their radar, we don't want that. Let someone else do that, we are moving onto bigger and better things.
As you insinuated a few months of decent profit making results will speak louder than words. And shut muddy waters up for good I hope.LOL
GLA
That’s fantastic news big baggerhungry,
The share price is as usual being played with by speculators, that’s ok to a point, now we need Burford to get into a more proactive confident building exercise with institutions and private share holders, the low valuation will eventually leave us, as I keep banging on about that fantastic presentation clip in my past post , that was found by another astute poster is my belief now, everything that was stated in that independent presentation tells me that Burford is about to materially expand its financial funding to lawsuits and also expand its whole financial basis. It’s the biggest the best at what it does, and that deserves a premium to its competitors. The future is bright ok, a little more patience will win the day .
GLA
Ffcmember thank you sir, I had originally started off I think quoting a 40 times PE or so, that PE is still a great one, I wish we had half of that LOL.
The current SP , probably day speculating traders playing on the nerves of investors around the USA listing voting. After watching that clip/ presentation I posted earlier today I’m very relaxed to the huge potential of Burford and it’s current share price ,
The very best is yet to come .
GLA
Warno01 lets please make this simple , manolete has earnings of 10.70 and a share price of £6 Multiply the earnings to get to the current share price and you get the Price per earnings, I’m more than happy to be corrected.
Remember I’m only pointing out the massive difference in each companies valuations.
Burford is seriously undervalued compared to the whole sector, though that will change in good time, I have no doubt about that, good companies always bounce back from bad publicity.
GLA
Warno01 I gave you all the facts, and even today I gave you the facts again ,,,Price + PE and link to manolete on LSE and yet you seem oblivious to what’s in front of your eyes, I can do no more than that sir. It takes all kinds on these forums I guess.
Good luck with your investment in Burford,
GLA
As I’ve said before just keep a we eye on manolete partners plc , up another 40p today, giving it a sky high PE and valuation, Then you can understand just how cheaply Burfords shares price is.
We have a lot of catching up to do, though we will steadily climb back to and above £8.20p ,
I’m not completely comparing Burford to manolete, though the difference in the PE is ridiculous in my humble opinion.
GLA
Bigbaggerhungry that’s a great idea, though I would expect them to be shy of the answer, LOL.
Even they wouldn’t be sure of a exact time frame right now, though I expect you , like the rest of us would just like a guesstimate, A approximate time would be great, T, care .
GLA
It seems to me that Burfords investors are treading water now until the results of the voting comes in for the USA listing .“ Or not“
GLA
A USA listing takes between 4 to 6 weeks , though from what point that's taken from I don't know sir, this pandemic may alter everything for a USA listing of not.
Manolete partners plc has again increased to 52 times PE, I wonder what the poster "WARNO01 " take on that is now ? No apologies needed.
GLA
Thank you cosy , quite late, though I guess they want to allow as much time as possible to get all the votes in, it can't be easy under the current covit19 circumstances.
GLA
I can't seem to find that time myself, it will be a remotely held AGM , the USA listing will have been established by now, as last Monday was the deadline for at least coastal voting ,
That £4.71 pivot point is being tested by nervous short termer's and profit takers.
GLA
Our directors are buying again, more confidence building excellent.
Our share price has went over a pivot point at £4.71, that's a strong indicator to a much higher share price for today, great .
GLA
Let's just see if burford flys past £5 after the vote on our USA listing today, I'm expecting to see £5 + by the close on Friday.
GLA
Interestingly Jonathan eams the Times legal editor didn't tell the full story, in that Burfords shares plunged to around £4.31p
After muddy waters new report, but was rebuffed by the market and investors, to slowly climb back over the day, to even give a increase in burfords overall share price and valuation by 1.3% , it seems the market has sided with burford on that one, seemingly a turning point for burford and It's investors.
Everyone can put there spin on events, include myself, the Times is factual ok, though the true story of yesterday's events was far more bullish on the side of Burfords comeback from another muddy waters spin on burfords accounting, for me and it seems investors it was a turning point to come back from £4.31 and to then come back and strongly hit £4.97 to finish on say £4.88p, burford has rejected and said goodbye to muddy waters , and the next days weeks and months ahead are about a continuation of building investor confidence , to regain a fair market price for burfords shares, I wasn't entirely sure how long I would hold burfords shares, but after listening to that independent presentation in my last link, I'm quite sure I'm now invested in burford for at least 3 to 5 years.
I'm reposting this fantastic presentation Link again , it's to important to not see, if this doesn't make you want to hold burfords shares nothing will, yes the shares will go to up and down as expected, but the main direction will be up up and UP.

Please DYOR, shares can do anything at any given time,
GLA
Manolete earnings 10.70 X PE 51 current share price is £5.50p to buy , you do the maths .
I'm only quoting the LSE forum, maybe you should take it up with LSE themselves. ! ? Actually they quote over 51 PE

Thank you Mathurin for that kind endorsement,
Burford certainly is a far better company than our current share price indicates, it's the biggest and best at what it does, I assure you in the medium to long term the team at burfords HQ will have its share price much higher with presentations and investor road shows, but more importantly they will substantially grow this business during a historical recession, what I love about It's business model is the safe guards to protect it own capital , by keeping the risk down to a low percentage of money employed, and taking on the big cases that others can't take on, by virtue of its other financial backers/ sovereign wealth fund , hedge funds etc, we split the risk to taken on truly huge cases, and giving us the number one spot in lawsuit litigation funding. The best thing about it all is that there's simply huge amounts of increasing workloads coming in every single year, giving burford a visible very long term opportunity to capitalise on them.
GekkoGordon thank you so much for that great lead or link into that fantastic review into burfords business model by CARL CAN, / ARTEM FOKINS presentation, it was excellent, the best I've seen yet, it done more to keep me invested in burford long term than anything I've seen so far. I highly recommend it to any short term or long term investor in burford, if your thinking about taking a quick profit now in burford , it will seriously make you think twice about selling burford, it's quite long and a bit difficult to catch everything said, but the substance verbally and visually is the very best of presentations .
I strongly recommend every burford investor to watch and listen to this presentation, give it several minutes before you realise that this guy has truly done his home work on the whole litigation funding subject,

If you watch this you probably won't want to sell burford at all. I certainly won't.
GLA
Just look at the price of a similar litigation companies PE and valuation. It's Called manolete , it's absolutely astounding,
Now burford will surly get to at least £8.20p or even much much more, We have a PE of 6.568
and manolete has a PE of. 51 , manolete specializes in insolvency , so do we we, + much much more, yes we take on more risk ok, though in a massive depression the cherry picking of the best and safest lawsuit cases will increase substantially.
If manolete can hold a PE of 51 surly if there's any fairness in the world , then we as the litigation funding market leader , should command a substantially higher share price very soon. For me it's actually ridiculous for burford to have such a low share price, and that's putting everything into consideration. The muddy waters nightmare looks like its being put behind us now, as investors have had enough of Carson's Blocks own twisting of industry wide accounting practices, I assure anyone looking in on this forum, that Carson block can do very similar twisting and his own interpretations of literally any companies
Accounting practices. Normally be finds one decent failing and then he adds loads of small things to that first alligation, throwing in terms like padding a particular figure , moving around money from one accounting place to another, trust me they are all up to it, every single company in the world, because they all have a need to reduce their taxes. They all move money around , trying to keep it out of the view of the tax man. Every single listed company wants to bolster their profit figures, and in doing that lines get crossed, debts get moved around to make it look better for investors. They all do it day in day out. Carson Block only looks at companies to make it pay him, his job is to Target companies that have went to far with creative accounting. Some are genuinely bad, but Burford is definitely not a bad one, it's made mistakes and It's paid for it deadly,, now All that should be behind us, we should definitely regain a fair market price for burfords shares.
I'm absolutely delighted at the spectacular finishing of today's share price , SHARE PRICE WISE we actually told Carson Block to F OFF LOL.
Any thing can happen in investing, please always DYOR, and buy or sell with extreme caution.
