RRE about to

Absolutely RRE is not a trading stock right now. Sure, you could make a few quid, but when (not if) the next deal lands and you are in a settlement period, you stand to lose more longterm than you gain short term. My advice would be to park RRE, leave it alone and trade other stocks. I am right by the way

I wasnt on here yesterday, but reading this...I thought the same...lots of chaos around and whilst down, rre was far more resilient than over previous months. I expect news to come imminently.

I dont think he will buy a company outright...probably some ageing assets no one wants that he can layer RRE's life extender on top of.

to add...my biggest concern is that there is a stake builder on the quiet lurking, building a nice holding ready to take this out. AA could be blind sided if he doesn't keep his wits about him.

Rockrose is stuck between a rock and a hard place right now. After the lacklustre response to the price of oil, there is little AA can do other than watch the share price bob along here or splash the cash. Not sure we will see true value here until the fat cheque book comes out

RRE is an investment share which is a dividend payer. It's a buy and hold. Not for trading, no need to consider stops at all. Get stopped out, 5 mins later gets suspended...dont worth the bother or risk/
