Was one of the Uk sanctions mentioned being the prevention of companies to raise fresh capital on western financial markets. That might account for recent falls.

I'm watching also for the sanctions that will be imposed.

I'm not surprised it is comfortably under £3.00 this morning. I'm expecting another days fall tomorrow as the countdown to Russia invading Ukraine draws ever closer. Wasn't Wednesday D-day according to plans the US has seen. Then if they do sanctions will hurt the share price even more.

The market hasn't wasted any time in taking this back to the placing price and letting the Board know exactly what it thinks of quick successive raises. The problem arises if the placees can't foresee getting their money back and sell short as a hedge.

Very disappointed with this placing so soon after the last one. It's one after the other at the moment. Please can you get your forecasting right and raise in one amount rather than looking amateurish. I am starting to think this full sale process is just to get the sp up to raise and raise and raise.

Surely the best thing to do is wait for senior management to buy. Then you will know when there is a brighter outlook. Until then it has to be a pure gamble...

Pokerchips you should not be in any contract that lets a Distribution Centre double its costs and then pass them onto the customer, without they themselves absorbing the bulk of them. It is poor cost control and you wouldn't get this with Next or H+M. I know there are inflationery pressures out there like wages going up, electricity going up but that is somewhere between 5% and 10%. Not 100% or more.

Whoever signed off on that contract with the Distribution Centre should be getting shown the door imo

Actions are being taken but how on earth has a responsible Board of Directors let the Distribution Centre costs double??? and they seem to be being held over a barrel by increased freight costs which I don't think they have any influence over? Can they not source in the Uk or closer to home?

I'll be waiting for evidence they have this within their grasp and ports are probably the better investment right now.

Things unfortunately are slipping that's on first gas and on the FSP.

They quite clearly caught the Covid wind with people locked down at home and only a computer and the internet to communicate with the outside world. Idle fingers and muscles leading them to companies like BOTB and Peleton. Now with everything reopening both BOTB and Peleton are struggling to deal with and adjust with the drops from previous demand levels. Online is still a business generating money even without the same levels of pandemic demand. There's not much in the RNS setting out how they propose to improve things. Tried expensive marketing but its too costly and not driving new customer numbers. Maybe with the country emerging from the pandemic and footfall returning to high streets and shopping centres they should consider going back to bricks and mortar as a selling channel. It's hard to see any real growth potential off anything stated in the RNS so probably a bit further to retrace.

I'm struggling to understand this. Surely the best time to be thinking about selling all or some of ANGS is when the gas is flowing at Saltfleetby. Why the urgency in trying to conclude a sale prior to that? Do they really have such little confidence in either the assets or their own ability to deliver?

It probably is still worth selling for their will be further placing shares that will be sold for profit. I also think it is also all well and good stating that you think the share price is undervalued and effectively placing yourself up for sale but the market surely is not wrong in pricing Angus based on its previous lack of success.

It will be a different company if it gets to successfully production but it has to get there and there are still many hurdles to jump over prior to that.

Just received an email from one cinema chain with updated films for the week ahead and the 355 is on there for the full week so I can now book it. Will check Cineworld, Odeon and Vue later. It could be that all of were waiting for a green light to save any unnecessary work.

I'm not a genius and only confirming what JohnnyCoder has stated and from my own experience. You are welcome to check Odeon and Vue cinemas as well. All seem to be the same which is a very strange coincidence.

bombdog I was looking to book The 355 which is out this Friday but it isn't even showing at Odeon and others. Cineworld's website for Stoke is also showing large gaps and I can't see it either. This is starting to resemble lateral flow tests where the distributor got millions of kits delivered before Christmas and then closed for Christmas.

I am finding exactly the same JohnnyCoder and haven't had a weekly films email off one of the other cinemas I regularly use for the weekend starting 7th January.
