I thought the update may have had a more positive impact but it would seem there are darker forces at play.

I may be guessing but was this not done to sneak in another raise prior to the further drilling and wet. If they don't succeed on the drill or the well collapses then at what price.

Drilling is a risky business and there are so many variables that could go wrong and often do.

Let the market fully digest what was said and then buy or sit on the fence.

It seems the best time to buy is when they conduct placings at deeply discounted rates. Those in the City will have made their money and be long gone and all completely risk free.

They have zero chance of debt financing at anything near reasonable interest rates to make this viable.

Then all the other wells to finance, operational expenses, new licences.

Surely they should all have waited until the end of the EWT then decide if it's a success or not and merited.

Crypt you know I'm right. Just look at the massive option awards the Directors issued to themselves on the 1/7/24 as performance bonuses and only just after saddling those invested with a massively discounted 0.5p placing.

It creates completely the wrong impression I'm afraid.

Go on, look at all those options awarded. They are enormous.

Toffees just look back at the 1/7/24 RNS for the amount of options issued to each of the Directors.

LB. 55 Million against a 13.25M holding. Mike William's. 40 Mullion against against only a 2.2 Million holding.

The list of options is simply astonishing.

Private investors get shaf Ted with reduced priced placings and see their wealth crashed whilst the Directors issue themselves massive options as a reward.

Clue yourself up.

That nice apologetic podcast message to shareholders from LB that she didn't have any say in the recent derisory placing price of 0.5p and massive discount.

Yet all the Directors effectively writing themselves huge Bonus options to make up for any deficits in their own portfolios.

Something that ordinary shareholders can't do.

Maybe somebody should remind them of this fact when giving away further billions of shares for a song.

Tread carefully as there will be lots more funding to come and drilling is always a risky biscuit
