@5Orrell - It's standard to allow to allot more shares, it gives the company flexibility, it does not mean a placing is coming, just headroom.

All that was said was AM reading the resolutions, announcing the vote and then ending the chat. I didn't even hear 'thank you for attending, good bye', maybe I missed it. I saw Simon Cole and Stephen Han**** attending on the list, along with other shareholder names.

Appalling treatment of shareholders continues. Definitely time for AM to go.

I would agree the name change seems key. I'm thinking more investment is coming and everything needed to be reorganised to suit. Whilst I'm still critical of the board I also think something has definitely been holding back any sort of action and hope this is the start.

Shame MVR didn’t see fit to put out an AGM statement, but hey, why change a habit of a lifetime and keep shareholders informed. Looking forward to hearing more, not expecting much at all.

@mel5, I agree, we need people and connections to help build the business. Without massive fund raises they wouldn’t be able to achieve what other companies have already got, hence mergers and collaborations more likely.

Time for Melody to start merging with other companies of services they clearly are lacking the ability to handle themselves adequately. They can’t be Jack of all trades.

Pity the AGM isn’t going to answer any of these questions, they can carry on and ignore shareholders as usual.

This company needs huge further investment if they are going to bring their offering worldwide. That’s why Asia hasn’t been opened up, they can’t handle it. Don’t worry, it’s all part of the plan.

You mean to say it’s taken the marketing team at Melody this long to work out that tweeting themselves will never match a tweet from the artist, themselves and needed to test this, no wonder they are so slow.

DEV was rather badly run too if I recall, now it has some big investors backing it, maybe MVR will follow suit.
