Of course there were cracks, they are there for all to see, massive losses and no revenue and the need for large fund raises.

This deal covers the cracks of MVR failing business model, they couldn’t make VR work and are resorting back to tried and tested methods. If this deal hadn’t been done the company would probably have found it harder and harder to exist requiring larger fund raises.

At least MVR might be able to attract some bigger names now.

Finally an acquisition which will get MVR a subscription model that they’ve been promising for ages. Doesn’t take any pressure off them, they need to start delivering what they promised on so many fronts.

Lack of news because AM and team have been working on this. Maybe the company can finally go somewhere now, hopefully with a new board.

Normally come quite close together, would think they should be given the volume, unless they get given another load of shares. Or maybe we might actually get some good news from the company, about time they gave an update.

It’s bad enough when shareholders aren’t updated, but customers need to have an idea. What’s happening now? What new acts are coming. Do we expect another one of their amazingly large back catalogue to be drip fed on to the app. Diabolical really, wonder if anyone would call an EGM and be able to get rid of these incumbents?

If these roles are new I hope they are to bolster something that is coming now, not new people developing something for the future months, meaning Brixton is a Christmas rollout or even worse the New Year.

I have figured it out. Check out the ‘Data Scientist’ job at MVR, and then look at the interview panel. ‘Call Mark Kortekas our CTO (15-30 minutes)’, that’s where Mark is listed as the CTO.

Joking aside, they need to get their act together. Making announcements about Brixton etc and now giving the silent treatment is not acceptable. They are burning cash and have no solid revenue - at this rate it will be Christmas before we see any sign of life which is simply unacceptable.

I'm still of the firm belief the good ship Melody needs a new captain, this one has lost his map and is drifting around the Isle of Wight in circles thinking he's found America.

I'm just wondering if some of 7DIG expertise and systems would be able to be utilised by MVR, no point reinventing the wheel if they can benefit. They have connections with Simon Cole, possibly they can work together in some way.
