The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Case in point 'Select64,'
In my humble opinion, this is a 4 or 5 year operation, which will inevitably give a savvy investor multiple opportunities to get in and out, during its upward trajectory. HE is finite, so it's a no brainer. It is by no means a get rich quick, but I have faith in Mr Minchin. He is delightful lol.
It is a pleasure to be an investor in a company with him at the helm. It could be far worse, you could've invested in SYME!!!
Yep, MM's and Technicals go out of the window when we release results about the concentration and volume we own. Just be patient, sit back and watch the SP tick up and up.
I've taken a few weeks break from looking at this share, as I am in from 4.3 and fancied a break from looking at the SP with the guarantee of disappointment on a daily basis.
When I looked at the SP today, I foolishly hoped to see at least a small gain, or nothing negative.......
As we all know, the SP has consistently decreased. WHY WHY WHY?????
We can't all be stupid and foolish, so there was obviously a reason for us all to invest. I am starting to think that it's only us stubborn investors who are maybe still holding onto the dream.
I will stubbornly hold onto this stock to zero, but have not enjoyed the ride. The BOD should be investigated for presiding over a company during a Pandemic and making zero profit whilst having the technology they have.
It's shambolic and embarrassing. Please tell me if I am wrong.
The intended gain is that the BOD read our posts, raise their game and are shamed, embarrassed and possibly cajoled into performing.
I don't like kicking myself in the bol*x, but it is what it is.
Does anyone actually know if the "long awaited magical machine" which was installed last year, after considerable delays has paid for itself yet?
Our masks are just too expensive for the general public. We need to focus on other applications
Exactly. Let's hope that we evolve and sell our technology into other applications such as A/C on Planes and Public Transport, Shopping Centres etc
Lseking, I am wondering if you are either an intelligent 4 year old whom has borrowed their Dad's IPAD, or cannot embrace a profound conversation regarding an investment without looking at the numbers etc.
If you know more about this share than the rest of us and can cheer us all up, please do. Until then, in the meantime, can you recommend any other cartoons for us all to watch whilst we wait for the SP to rise?
I completely agree. This share reminds me of the .COM boom. People bought nearly every Fledgling Stock with minimal knowledge or zero knowledge. Most went up immediately, but the ones with no longevity crashed soon after. Our share should have longevity if we have the right people in control.
In hindsight, a year ago Dr Cave should not have been the front man re PR and the rest of the team were obviously questionable at best, but if we are all honest, this mask will never be for the general public, at least not in the short term as it is too expensive.
I know people who have used the same cheap, ineffective mask for ages, as they just don't get the fact that the effectiveness diminishes very very quickly (20 minutes according to some studies) Our Mask and its Technology should and could have been rushed through and sold to the NHS, Care Homes and then marketed to the rest of the world post haste. The fact that the World came up with a myriad of vaccines in record time is commendable, but it would seem that we missed a trick. Months and months ago, during the countless delays to produce our masks, (which felt like excuse after excuse) during this, why did we not keep ahead of the curve and modify the technology for the applications they are proposing now?
For me, I am proud of Dr Cave's innovation but underwhelmed with us not already selling A/C Filters etc etc etc.
Thanks PI. I am still long from a year ago and am about 70% down, but am still a believer. The technology should see us prevail, as long as no one else beats us to the post somehow. I think that we were all naive when it came to the technology of our product due to its infancy and efficacy re COVID-19 etc, thanks for your response.
I watched the film Money Monster last night.
As we all know, owning SYME Stock has been excruciatingly painful. 9 times out of 10, an RNS or statement from from MR Z sends the SP down, even if it was positive. That's counter intuitive and inspires no confidence at all.
I bought SYME Stock over a year ago now, so you can imagine where I bought in at. Due to the fact that I genuinely believed in the concept, I bought more and more during the steady, progressive demise of the SP. The only upside of that process, is that my average is not as embarrassing as it would be.
I only wish that our CEO begins to under-promise and over-perform like other CEO's such as the guy at HE1.
Watch the film if you haven't already seen it. It'll at least make you chuckle, throw some humour on our current predicament and take the sting out of it.
Good luck all.
Quick question fellow Investors;
is it not illegal for Private Investors, or MM's or anyone else to ramp/deramp by publishing erroneous info and then profit from it? Given that this an official UK Website, I would imagine that the Contributors and Buyers/Sellers are easily tracked. Are the big players i.e the Portfolio Managers etc posting on here? I am a novice here and would love to have an insight from anyone more in the know than I.
Obviously, RMS is so easy to manipulate at the moment. I am long from over a year ago and had written off my Investment to a degree but am excited about them potentially using the Technology for other applications, but am still irritated that during a Pandemic, we failed to make money.
I welcome all responses and apologise for being uninformed.
Thanks guys and good luck.
Sorry to be pedantic, but it's "Advice," not, "Advise,"
I am long from 4.3 and welcome posts like yours Jezz. Your post makes a lot of sense, let's hope that our patience pays off.
Don't go there on holiday then lol.
Maybe this share isn't for you. Lets all be positive lol
Helium is finite, very useful, essential and often impossible to replace or synthesise. Now that we have found Helium which is likely to be at an unprecedented concentration, the SP can only go north. Technical Analysis is temporarily irrelevant. It is now fundamentals, i.e supply and demand. Who in their right mind would short this share? Even the CEO is adorable, great things to come..... Maybe the negative commentators will move on lol
I am so proud of our CEO! To date, he under promises and continually over delivers! Maybe the idiot running SYME could take a leaf out of his book. Good luck all. Imagine how many balloons will be at AGM lol
Here is an article on Sky News from 19th May 2021 discussing Masks in their entirety and their pro's and con's. There is no mention of our masks! Why? Do we have anyone working on our publicity? I find it shambolic.
https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-the-best-and-worst-face-masks-on-the-high-street-revealed-as-which-says-some-have-alarming-flaws-12310479
Which Magazine tested "27 of the best Face Masks," again, we didn't get a mention, there was however a mask on their survey which costs £6.25 which doesn't even kill the virus. Why do we not even make it to the dizzy heights of the which Magazine's top 27 Masks?
Also, if you Google "best face masks" We do not even appear.
If you google "Covid Killing Mask," Pharm2Pharm or even Pro Larva do not have direct links and are only mentioned by associated news links, again, this is shambolic.
Even if you google "Pro Larva Mask," we appear 9th on the list, again Shambolic. A 10 year old would be able to optimise our online presence more efficiently than the incumbent imbeciles who also see fit to propose potentially writing off Half a Million Pounds worth of loans and paying off the debts of Gyrometric.
I was frustrated enough when the infamous Mask Machine's arrival was delayed and delayed and delayed and its commission was further delayed ironically by the two Spanish Installers being tested Positive for Covid-19 and having to isolate (as they were obviously the only two guys in the world qualified and capable of commissioning the machine and our company were obviously not in any rush to bring a product to a market which crying out and begging for PPE) but my frustration has now turned into reticence.
I apologise for my somewhat bitter diatribe, but buying in at 4.3 and 3.6 is frustrating.
Lastly, I now find it amusing that during a Pandemic, we as a company who have a game changing product, a Covid-19 Killing Mask, have failed to even make a penny. It is embarrassing and inexcusable. It would maybe even cheer me up if our masks at least had a prominent presence on Google, but it would seem that that is beyond the capabilities of our PR team who over the last 12 months have had been waylaid with more pressing issues than making us profitable, or even us having a presence in the public eye. I will not sell my shares and will exercise more patience, but will take satisfaction in the fact that this post will be read by the incompetent Muppets who are responsible for not making all of us a fortune, months ago.......
I f I am wrong, I welcome anyone to pull me into the office and educate me.
I love that rationale. Even though this investment is no way a given, the fact that they delay good news and to date have in a sense under promised and hopefully will over deliver, gives me confidence to the point that I am considering doubling my initial investment. After all, It is a speculative punt but I sense an element of trust with the Board etc. This is a stark contrast to ,y investment in SYME, which has been painful. All the best guys and gals.
I've had shares in RMS since November and have seen the sp lose 70% of my investment. The company make masks; there is a Pandemic. Am I missing something here?
As a veteran here, I remember promises about when the machine was going to be commissioned etc. If anyone can help me rationalise such an embarrassing loss, please do so.
I would rather the pitiful remaining 30% than cash out. Is this company managed by imbeciles?
