Social media companies and people make money either by advertisement links or by being paid to run campaigns or events. The better the content, the more followers and the money you make. Ladbible Group which bought Unilad out of administration made £3.6 million on turnover of £20.8 million last year. So scale matters hugely. The risk is that your costs of creating the social media content exceed revenue you make perhaps because new hipper young rivals emerge or advertising revenues drop as google change their advertising . Joe Media used to be profitable and probably can be again.

It is the usual story dreamers buy in after price drop Following poor RNS hoping for a share price bounce.

They may get lucky if enough buy in because market cap is so low it doesn’t take much pressure to push up share price in short term but if they stay there will lose as EGHOS sells down its 2 billion shares.

I love the fact that there were 3 buys for £1.50, £3.70 and £3.75. It looks like someone misread The price of shares or perhaps they are just being cautious or maybe it’s the Directors finally buying in. LOL.

Why would the Board buy shares at present? Every couple of weeks they convert another chunk of debt and issue billions of shares.

Until the company is less cash flow negative it will continue to issue shares and dilute the share price. At start of April there were 1.6 billion shares in issue now its 8.2 billion. As the share price drops the dilution rate will increase.

A single deal is unlikely to transform company’s prospects overnight.

If you are buying this stock at present time when there are 2 billion shares almost 25% of the company that will be sold to enable another conversion in two weeks time for another 2 billion plus shares you would have to be a) under researched, b) an external optimist or c) a bulletin board moron. The share is cheap for a reason.

Sorry typo. Michael Peters doesn’t own any shares at present and this is evidenced by the fact that SJH stated in RNS around the time that no shares would be issued until proceeds were received.

The whole affair is odd why would you sign a legally binding agreement to pay £500,000 for shares if you don’t have the cash. Perhaps he thought he could get a loan secured on shares and lender backed out.

Applegarth you aren’t derisked if you still own the shares.

On the positive side 24.285 million shares sounds a lot but it’s basically punt money at these prices.

Mind you Directors haven’t invested a cent.

Micheal Peters does have any shares at present. He could 1,666,667 if he pays 500,000 which is just in the money at present.

Although to be fair it’s a lot more than all the Directors own put together.

The Directors remuneration is in the Prospectus issued in March 2020.

The Directors won’t take a pay cut because they don’t care about shareholders. The PIs are there to fund losses and enable company to continue so they can earn £4,000 a week. If it works out Directors will be in charge of successful company and can increase pay and get share options, if not then they still earned multiples of most investors pay.

You seem poorly informed. EGHOS can only hold 29.9% of share in issue. A few months ago the 29.9% limit was much lower as share count was much lower.

Next time they could convert over 2.4 billion shares subject to not exceeding £250,000 monthly conversion limit.

As share price falls conversion volume increases.
