Interesting and slightly odd over reaction to me saying I don't trust any CEO to do what's in my best interest (as apposed to the companies best interest)

Maybe it didn't come across clearly but I don't trust companies (or thier management) to do what's in the best interests for me.

The should do what's in the best interest of the company, if that was to mean doing a share issue that hammered existing share holders they would. The market cap of the company maybe greater but I would of still suffered.. I've had that happen plenty of times.

I've been told in RNS and personal coms from a ceo about Wells that were pumping out 100 boepd (barrels of oil per day), which was true, for about a week and then they were dry.

I've been told so much fluff from Ceo's that turn out to be true in a sense but massively misleading.

There are loads of listed companies that will churn thier shareholder over and over so raise cash for thier wages and bonuses, all fir the good of the company but not for my good in any way.

I absolutely don't trust any CEO, or director of a listed company to work in my best interest. What's good for the company is not always good for me.

I do find it ironic that there is a good deal of talk about trust and faith in PW and the team when the very thing that is a corner stone to our investment is it being trustless.

I trust very few people to do what's right for me and not themselves.

I think it sucks and shouldn't go ahead without ammendment, it has a massive opportunity for abuse.

Anything like that should be tightly tied into performance metrics. It needs amending.

It wouldn't be very team building if the patent was brought about to to stop one of the team running of with its secrets, I'm sure it's there to stop a copy and paste so it can be licenced whatever IT is.

Also Eddie I think you raise an interesting point, just because someone can do something technic ally doesn't mean they can bring it to market, in fact most of the time they can't.

It's interesting I might have to wait for the patent to be filed to properly understand what they are doing., I don't need to know the how, just the what.

That's a blast from the past I held Eurasia too, much of been around 10 years ago. If I remember right I held at 4p and sold at a loss haha, had no idea they actually made it. To 40+ that's another multi bag I messed up on ha.

Sounds interesting, atleast worth a little more digging around. I just need to get my head around whatever the differences are.

When I'm ETH, ever now and again a new version of the software miner comes out. Usually claiming a small efficiency improvement, so I can get my head around that side of things.

My knowledge gap comes from btc and asics mining, I. E. Are there multiple versions of software miners that can be ran or is there just one general btc mining firmware.

If the optimisations are good then the secret crypto person (which I'm not keen on) should surely just release it themselves and take 1% of whatever is generated using thier.miner.

Its possible I have come out with a load of rubbish there, I need to look into btc and asics and what thier differences are to my current understanding of how mining works

Yes thats pretty much what I'm getting at, overclock, undervolt and adjust memory timings specifically for the gpu you have and the algorithm (coin) your after.

Guys.. I know what the normal reaction is to first time posters on a board when they come out with the below question but it's a genuine question and not fudding, deramping, trolling or anything like it.

I've read in a RNS about a c. 10% improvement in efficiency when using a gpu for btc and there seemed to be a lot of positivity about it. But isn't that the same (actually maybe worse) than what anyone, armatures included do when they set up a mining rig. I. E. You alter the power and. Memory/core clock speeds to get a higher efficiency specifically for that piece of silicon in that particular gpu.

Surely that's nothing note worthy as I've done it myself many many times on ETH.

Is it the same thing or am I misunderstanding it completely?

I missed the bottom on Rds but also figured the same as you, we still need oil and when the economies come back to life we might see a massive demand surge.

The problem is it just hasn't happened, but then it dawned on me, the OPEC boys will want to shift as much oil as possible over the next couple of decades as the demand looks like its going to be in significant decline...I thought its OK though Rds are rolling out charging stations and. Are changing thier business model so hang in there.. In the end it just bored the hell out of me so Then makes me think lithium mines (batteries) are the way to go but I just couldn't see what I was looking for.

I'll look for decent hydrogen generation plants in the future

Althoughbi hate football (yea boo hiss) I completely get the analogy. I hate to admit it but I would fall into the many, could do better camp.
In my normal walk of life I am a Business & Process Improvement professional so it's in my nature to want more for less and to keep the business improvement cycle running. When people are sat chuffed with what they have done it's my place to ask them, "that's great, you've done well but what next, what's the next step goal, how will you get there, what do you need., what's the time frame and then more importantly.. How can I enable you to do it.

So yea unfortunately, I'd be the perceived moany one, never happy with what's been achieved and ways wanting more.

Arb is 100% of all pots.. Sipp, Isa, liquidated ETH, Savings account.. The lot.. (of course not the premium bonds and other - do not touch money :))

You either diversify and don't put all your eggs in one basket, or you do put them all in one basket and watch it like a hawk, and yes moan about it along the way and be called a fudder.. That's just the way it is.

Yea it's painful, you pay a spread, a transaction fee, maybe a currency fee, a withdrawal fee. It hammers the profits especially on one of the alt coins.

I mine semi directly to blockchain wallet, that allows me to process ETH to GBP for around 5%. Eth is a lot more established than the other coins so you could easily be looking at a 10% fee, which again is painful but I see it as a form of tax.
