All I've got in ARB is pension, all fist savings, daughters future wedding money and the other daughters futer house deposit.. Should be fine though I'm sure.

Riot 95m shares
Riot qtr rev $31 mil
Riot 2250 btc held

ARB 380 shares (I'm going to 425 with ipo) so that's 4.5 times the qty of shares as riot
£27 / 4.5 = £6 equivilant

Riot qtr revenue 17 mil so half of riot

£6 / 2 = £3 per share
Now take out the worth of another 1000 btc held by Riot

That's how I get to (very roughly) £3

All very fag packet, quite happy to be corrected if I have got something materially wrong, I accept I've rounded up and assumed 50mil extra shares for the IPO.

When I looked at it superficially a few weeks back I didn't see that much in it based on share count, market cap, mining power but also how many BTC are currently being HODL.

Now don't get me wrong I would love it if our SP got to 10, but I can more realistically see 3.

Who knows though, if btc rockets and we finally get some hash rate that puts us in the big league then I suppose it could happen.

I think we will be renting out texas capacity for the homeless miners. One things for sure, it should prove interesting.

No one has claimed to be an expert, yes you need luck too which is what a lot if not all of the LTHers have had. It has been luck not your excellent investment foresght :)

I say that because using your own logic, if the LTHers were That good they would not of needed ARB to make their money it would of happened many times over on differnt stock.
For every share like arb that have made people good returns there are hundreds that fail. So if blind luck & 'faith' is good investment advice then so be it.

That I completely agree with, no matter the issue price I believe we will soon recoup the drop and move on up.

Texas has the ability to be funded from the 100 million pre arranged finance option which I believe was the original plan.

But also its just not how it works, IPO investors want to make money. It is completey illogical to me why a significant investor would pay way higher than market price for putting in loads of money and getting locked in.

What actually happens is the logical route, significant investors buy in with a lot of money expecting a discount

Does any one know of any company that has dual listed lse:nasdaq where the IPO price was above the current 30 day average share price?

The bit I don't get in relation to a IPO higher than our current price..

Do you want to buy millions of shares for £2.40 each and be locked in to not being able to sell for 6 months.
Or just buy them now outside of the IPO for £1.30 with no lock in.

The only difference being what market they are on, I am sure those invited to participate in the IPO easily have access to the LSE

So why on earth would someone agree to buy relatively the same thing for nearly double the price and be locked in.

Haha yep, I just hope I can hold my nerve through £3 and then £4, it will put me confortably past 6 figures so I don't think I'll have the stones to hold without selling out..

Who knows though, all depends on the information flow and if there is somewhere better to put my money.

That being said, I was in the same position and thought with SXX, that had even more 'no brainer', world class management team and finance raisers associated to it.. Just about got out with my shirt in the end so as Kenny Rogers says in the Gambler.

You don't ever count your money whilst your sitting at the table, there will be time enough for counting when the dealing is done.

I can't see why the IPO offering would be higher than current share price.
There will be more shares issued and it would be usual for them to be at a discount.

I reckon we will be around then-20% from today's prices for the IPO so hopefully it will be northwards of £1.

If Regulation A+ was used to simplify the listing and reporting then 75million per year is the max that can be raised. It might also explain the explicit 180 day lockup as a lockup isn't necessary with reg a+.

I think it will be at a reasonable discount to today's price and they will base it on 'x' previous days average.
With any luck though it will catapult up soon after so the IPO price will be practically irrelevant

I dont think it's that, the 700 mil market cap is a requirement for the type of IPO application we have made. Once it's been agreed and launched then that condition wouldn't exist any more.

If I was a IPO in ester I would want the sp to sky rocket over the 180 day window so I could sell a portion at a juicy profit.

If the sp was held for 180 days it would be more likely to fall than rise and then at the 180 day window IPO investors would dump them most likely at a loss.

I can't see the 180 day restriction being anything other than the IPO investors can't sell within 180 days.

I thought the lockup was the period after the IPO launch whereby the IPO investors cannot sell. That would have a positive impact on the share price (or atleast not a negative impact). So I don't see any reason to be held in this trading window after IPO launch.

I'm just sat in the shadows keeping quiet.
