Dorsey is one smart cookie although I would of though he would of had his crypto exchange up and running before creating more market for himself.

We all know that btc is decentralised and not under the direct control of an individual regarding issuing like fiat but if you can control all the avenues and make the transactions pass through you its the next best thing.

No one issues the currency of the Internet (btc) but it can be channeled and to a degree controlled.

Yea, it's just boredom talking, we could atleast have some news on new machines or anything to discuss really.

Just out of curiosity, why would we of had an UT at 11am today, only 1600 volume but I'm not sure I've seen a UT in normal trading hours... Not really looked before either but I thought the were just the by product of the auction matching periods before and after market.

Or that even at the held price we are actually already over 700 mil market cap.

I don't think anyone knows for certain as its just not quite as clear cut as what it seemed to be a few days ago.

We are really all just sat here waiting for news, maybe retrospectively all will become clear.

It was discussed a few forum post previously. The wording can be understood and interpreted in a couple of reasonable ways.

The conclusion was its not particularly relevant now. It looks like we are being held at this price range but not for wanting to be registered as a emerging company.

It's possible we are not being artificially held by a guiding hand and more just traded around this price point as its easy pickings.

More news on the nasdaq listing or other operational news (machines ect) should hopefully break us out of this range. It's a waiting game.

Typically yes, financial years for us are April to April, for argo the financial period ends in December so I assume its Jan start.

Placement at $1.05 , so can see earlier how it was up 100% i cant see +1750%?

So the F1 registration with the Sec isn't when the fiscal quarter requirements come into effect? It is only after the sec has green lighted the registration that the company can apply to be listed on the nasdaq?

So if the share price is being held back now because the June 30th quarter doesn't count, then the next quarter is end of September, so are you saying we will be held in this range until atleast the end of September?

Now IM being unclear, i didnt mean IPO i meant application. im going to make some tea.

All i really getting at is that todays share price being held isnt anything to do with a 700 mil market cap requirement.

We seem to have differnt understanding of the wording.

The application to be listed on the Nasdaq has been made under the conditions of us being a Emerging company. The application HAS been made. For us to apply to the Nasdaq as a Emerging company we needed to of had a marketcap of under 700 million as of June 30th 2021.

The application is the Start of the requirement and yes it will then end when we exceed the 700 mil market cap (or other conditions).

Your reply below to someone that you made earlier today in relation to lack of current news flow.

The IPO has nothing to do with the market cap being under $700m as this requirement ended on June 30th. We could have a market cap of 5 Billion right now and it would make no difference to the IPO or Nasdaq listing being easier or simplier, the condition has already been met. (at 5 billlion we would stop being an emerging company on dec 31st)

Agreed, i think its a nice quirk and probably saves a few quid for the application. Also the reporting then shows just 2 years of profitability, but also will tie up nicely with the 2 years worth of Carbon Positive that the company achieved (retrospectively).

My issue is that i keep seeing the 700 million banded around and i do not see how it applies to our current 'shorted' share price.

The point i was trying to make was that there seems to be a belief on here that we need to stay under 700 million market cap in relation to the Nasdaq listing which is not true.

Ive seem it loads over the past days and weeks where it is believed we are being held at this price range so we do not exeed the 700 million market cap, what i am saying is that todays price is nothing to do with the 700 million market cap requirement. The requirement to be under 700 mil for us to be defined as emerging ended on June 30th.

Ive been through lots of non-argo related documents trying to find it, ive read alot about tier systems and different regulation amendments but i just couldn't find the 700 mil clause, it was doing my head in because i read it initially and thought period was closed.

Ive been googling it on and off for days haha.. im such a bad researcher!

A little bit more digging

"We could be an emerging growth company for up to five years, although circumstances could cause us to lose that status earlier, including if the aggregate market value of our ADSs and ordinary shares held by non-affiliates exceeds $700 million as of any June 30 (the end of our second fiscal quarter) before that time, in which case we would no longer be an emerging growth company as of the following December 31 (our fiscal year-end)."

So it was closed as of June 30th - If we increase within the next 5 years then we have to do the heavier reporting, i hope no one is suggesting we are being held for 5 years.

If we go above 700 mllion (from June 30th) then we need to do fuller reporting after December (i.e. start of next year needs extra reporting).

So the belief on here that we are being held under 700 million as part of the nasdaq reporting doesnt seem to stack up.

Of course we could be being held for other reasons related to the IPO but i do not think its anything to do with the Nasdaq 700 mil requirement as that ended on June 30th.

It is as i thought though, surely the 700 million requirement doesnt apply anymore?

last business day of our most recently completed second fiscal quarter... that means its done already doesnt it? i.e. completed second quarter was end of June.
