ok sofas, understand now, thanks. i agree with your workings.there were a little over 3.4 billion old napster shares, but the broad picture is as you say. do we actually know what has happened to matchett and han****? personaly can't see them fitting into the algorand set up and presumably their holdings will have been diluted in the same way. obviously there may be other facets of the deal to which we are not privy, so difficult to say exactly how they have fared.

completely agree,Knowbody.j ust think how many times you have read posts declaring expectations of significant announcements just before an AGM and compare that with how often it actually happens. very rare. possible of course,but not likely, imo.

morning bignose.as always one needs to have a dedicated translation guide to hand when evaluating and interpreting the language used by these type of companies. "imminent"is one word in particular,which can apparently cover time periods from a few days to a few month/years, to, sometimes, never. bit like "next year" only vaguer.

exactly right trousers. i'm also waiting to hear back from HL about my query as to whether they have clarified matters regarding the additional payments mentioned by albert (escrow fund and shareholders fund) on the 12month anniversary of the deal. if they are payable it won't be much, but i would like to get to the bottom of it. will post any response i get on this..

haven't checked them all but rebellyous and live kindly are both plant based. i appreciate that this is a small part of the portfolio, hence my reference to " plant based"in my post .the point for m,e is that the principle is doubtless applicable ,regardless of the specific technology,i.e. whether it is plant based or cell ag. claims of environmental benefit (and doubtless health benefit as well) are going to have to be substantiated in the real world of economic commerce..im not suggesting this particular example is sounding the death knell of cell ag,far from it, as i think it is potentially the future.just pointing out that one needs to be a touch circumspect about accepting the sometimes high sounding rhetoric without question. my opinion of course,but for me it is clearly relevant.

no trades as i type(market still open).astonishing run of low volume days.hard to realise this is a main market listed share when it can go for days with no, or virtually no, value in shares traded. just chuntering in absence of any news.(hoping sod's law will prompt the update)

it is indeed Kabaa, so much so that it prompted me to recheck my HL account ,in case i had gone mad (i am one of the older posters on here, so anything is possible). however, i can confirm that it reads "NMinc (now taken over)" with the number of shares and value as N/A. in the transaction history it shows the cash credit on the 25th may described as "net takeover payment"

it also shows in the holdings section "cryptocurrency interim line". which it explains as stock resulting from a corporate action that will be exchanged for stock or cash. i can offer no explanation for the apparent discrepancy of treatment.

Kaaba,sorry can't help. had my cash paid into my HL accounts on the 25th. im still corresponding with them as to whether there are any other payments due (exclusive of anything to do with the cryptos). as to the cryptos element, it's still unclear how this will work and indeed whether some of us on HL and similar platforms could end up missing out.hopefully they will sort something out to prevent this happening.

yes important to remember Lanstead still have to make the june and july payments.we don't know whether they still have shares to sell,but seems reasonable to assume(based on how we think they have been playing this so far) that they will be selling nearer the time to fund the payments. so would expectndownward pressure on s/p as a result, subject, of course, to whatever news (if any )may materialise in the meantime.
