evening all.just been looking over the update.very pleased to see it(and yes,a bit surprised in view of JG's previous comments).overall impression is pretty positive. don't want to draw unwarranted inferences,but i regard the speed of the china progress as very encouraging.seems like they want to crack on with it..it's still got a long way to go ,but encouraging. i was also pleased with the detail in the US info.yes,its taking an age,but at least things seem on track.i continue to feel a US deal is going to have to wait for fda approval, but provided we can cope with the financing need in the meantime,negotiating from a position of strength based on the actuality of FDA approval,rather than the hoped for expectation,is bound to result in a better deal.also pleased with the review of EU position.hope the reference to "royalty revenue"is not overly optimistic.would be good actually to get some! finally, is the reference to a possible japanese partner new? probably not, but i couldn't immediately recall it.i m probably just looking desperately for positives i expect.

afternoon bignose.no,it's not a lot,but maybe it's all they need?wishful thinking im sure.interesting thoughts re jamie's shares. quite Machiavellian,but could easily be correct im normally pretty patient re investments,but the wait for news(perhaps till end of august)is getting a bit wearing.

morning albert.well you may well be right.i certainly agree about algorand meaning business.not so sure about AM being involved.tbh i hope not.he may have had the technical expertise to put the initial mvr offering into being and the productions from ally pally etc ,were always of good quality,but i think he would be out of his depth now with this lot.lovell obviously has the right background and credentials for certain aspects of the new proposed incarnation,but am and sh, not so sure?.could be completely wrong of course.anyway it's an interesting development. one commentators remarks about the recent run of bad news for crypto and the NFT market possibly making this a good time now to be getting back into it, did resonate with me.

thanks for providing that HG.confirms the info provided by albert. been looking at the articles and comments re the napster token.seems like it may well be an interesting and positive development.it has served to confirm my view that matchett and han**** were financial and business ingenues, who were simply not up to the job of running an enterprise of substance, as evidenced by the the terms of the original napster acquisition and the subsequent Nice and Green debacle.there was, i suspect, a lot of potential here,but it needed people of more quality and greater intellectual prowess to capitalise on it.anyway,just my opinion and water under the bridge now.

agree with that dougie. trouble is,a lack of communication usually means there is nothing good to communicate. just have to wait it out im afraid.

agreed and tightening financial conditions won't be helping. with the fall in dvp's value etc any potential licensing partner is going take advantage of weakness.time will tell,but possibly a bad sign that the promised update has now fallen off the agenda!

morning bignose.closed at 1.98 asd. not good. suspect we are going to need a significant macroeconomic improvement to get to back to former highs.and erp down again(as i type) on minuscule volume.without any update i imagine we will just continue to drift down on tiny volume..

you may be right,but personally im assuming that they will announce top line results by middle of sept (in effect isn't this what the RNS says?) and that provided they are good we should see a significant re- rate at that point. i emphasise provided they are good.

thanks for that HG.it seems fairly clear from what HL have said that if they do issue the crypto there won't be a cash alternative. so unless the various trading platforms can come up with some scheme to get the cryptos to us we will lose out.if they don't launch the cryptos by the 30th march then there will be cash payment instead,so we may be better off if they don't launch in time.incidentally im still in correspondence with HL regarding the putative escrow and shareholders payments.they completely ignored my question regarding these and simply in effect repeated what we already knew about the initial cash payment. my latest message to them is,needless to say,somewhat more acerbic in tone,insisting that they address these specific issues. in fairness i have always been entirely satisfied with HL,but they are a professional service provider and i expect them to deal with my questions in a professional way.

cri123 i would not normally post here as im not invested and it's easy to come on and trot out platitudinous bromides, but i feel compelled to urge you not to do anything such as invest in Val or anything like it. i am very familiar with val (former investor with a small profit) and to put any of your remaining cash into it would be sheer folly. regardless of VAL's prospects ,(which i suspect are very dubious )it's a totally binary play. heads you win tails you lose.simple as that and regrettably you are not in a position to do that. if you had sufficient funds to diversify and can take another 100%loss, it might be an option as a small (very small punt) but please don't stick anything in it out of desperation. of course if val get the funding and it does 100% fine, blame me ,but think if it does the opposite and drops to 6/7p or lower. some of these biotech can drop 95% in seconds on bad news (e.g. mtfb), so keep what you've got and forget about trying to win it back at the casino. sorry but i do feel strongly at what i see as a totally irresponsible suggestion. and I've been through them all .black monday ,dot com, zero dividend shares etc.just my opinion of course,but its one thing to stick 16k in something as a punt when you are 25/30 because you can recover with earning,but not when you are much older and with limited earning capacity. i wish you well.

morning bignose.yes todays trading was interesting.i thought at first that i was getting figures from an historic trading day,as that does sometimes happen with aa,although it always corrects itself .interesting as you say. i don't know much about asos but i do follow boo and even had a small holding a couple of years ago(tiny profit). i have toyed with buying in again,but never quite done it.as you say its sentiment which drives so much and boo seems particularly prone to it.gets a lot of negative press treatment.the hut group is also interesting and i have a very small holding there.anyway back to erp .shame we have to wait till last part of august for news,unless of course,something materialises in the meantime which they have to announce.

morning kdonkey. i doubt you will be missing anything by not going.nothing price sensitive can be discussed or announced unless it has been RNSd beforehand.so imo you will be better off just monitoring for RNSs.personally not expecting any news until september when we should hear re US trials.i will be looking at s/p movements from the middle of august to see if any movement(either way)in anticipation of news and the submission of results by end of september.just my opinion of course and anything can happen at any time.

just to be serious for a moment,although i doubt anything will come of,i do find the B2BSaaS concept from the perspective of businesses looking after employees' mental health, quite interesting. in a world where employers want to be seen to be looking after employees (motivated no doubt by a fear of being sued for failing to do so in the eyes of some idealistic, virtue signalling, liberal minded judge in the us and being on the wrong end of a multi million damages claim because someone got a bit depressed), they might want to be able to put up in their defence that they have adopted the latest state of the art AI based analytical tools to help protect employees. nonsense of course, but this is the world we live in, so perhaps something may come of it. who knows.
