cont. i say a serious attempt, because this seems to be of a different order from the young ai app, which at least in its basic form is free (im assuming this is still the case). the senoclock is not free.there is no mention of cost on the podcast but i assume the licensing terms would depend on case load user numbers, etc. the podcast does make the point that this is highly scalable and can be used for one person up to 10s of thousands.looking at the website it seems one has to pay to rent a trial package,so hopefully not desperate to push out freebie promotionals.
they do provide a demonstration of the reports etc, which it produces and to my untrained eye it looks quite impressive. the reports contain recommendation as to areas and steps for improvement etc.deep mentioned that they were in discussions with "the government" (i think that was what he said) as to whether it could be used in public health surveys.
i don't think they mentioned actuarial and insurance companies, but i may have missed that as they are clearly areas of interest and have been referenced before.
the big question, of course, is how popular is this going to be with clinics etc. is it just a niche interest which will never gain any real commercial traction, or could (at the other end of the popularity spectrum) become a medical aide de rigeur for all those companies desperate to be able to fend off the rapacious claims of all those employees whose health has been damaged by the callous indifference of their taskmaster employers? you pays your money..... Most probably the former, but you never know!
