morning bignose.personal one for you.looking at the prospectus,it seems residents in singapore will be able to subscribe.those of us here in the UK will not be able to and i was heartened to see that this lumps me in with russia in terms of eligibility! lol hard to see why any ordinary investor would take up the rights,although i suppose you can make some kind of case based on dealing costs and convenience.will be interesting to see how it goes, but the real interest now will be over what,if anything ,is announced re progress of FDA trial etc.

morning bignose.wouldnt argue with any of that.my reference to luck was not intended to seek to exculpate reps bod from its responsibility for its many failures and unmet time lines etc. in particular i have never understood why they have had such supply chain difficulties.i don't know enough about it to be categorical,but an inability to ensure a proper supply after the eu regulatory achievements has,imo, inflicted a great deal of damage.
still no news of the prospectus! very odd.surely they have to publish it on the website?

i agree with that 81.tbh i hadn't really taken on board the point about the middle east,which is quite significant in its own right. also grateful to posters who have interpreted the reference to the initial technical screening as meaning the endpoints have been accepted as being achieved.i hope this is the correct interpretation,as although we have had Fum's own statements about its success in that regard, it would be good to think the FDA have confirmed this.as to the possibility of a placement,anything is possible of course,but hard to see why this would be likely now bearing in mind the wording in the 2022 interims regarding the cash runway. "The company continues to have sufficient cash resources beyond initial med3000 launches and expected US regulatory approval. the current runway does not include any additional revenue from commercial upfront milestones, royalties or other income generated from Med3000 sales."

evening goldenegg.luck plays such a big part in all these scenarios. fum were lucky that the placebo in the med2005 trial performed as well as the trial subject itself. it enabled them to regroup and press on with med3000 as a device,with less exacting regulatory requirements and(i believe)a lower manufacturing cost. it could so easily have gone the other way.kudos to them for being brave enough to turn failure into (as we hope) success. if they hadn't had the backing of lombard to finance the next steps they would,i imagine,have gone under. i certainly agree that having gone down the new route the fum bod do not appear to have put a foot wrong.they have delivered reliably on all time frames etc in marked contrast to the appalling delays and obfuscation which have blighted fortacin's progress. i do hope for all our sakes,that ERP can also now snatch victory out of what feels very much like the jaws of defeat.gla

afternoon bignose.yes it was a positive looking summary,although not much that was actually new,i think.the reference to having completed successfully the initial technical assessment was new i think,so that sounds positive.not sure what it actually means,but it must mean something ,so everything seems on track so far.yes they don't seem to have had any difficulty getting licensees, although the big one for USA is still up for grabs. i think one has to keep a wary eye on the m/c as its a bit difficult imo to see it going to more than twice what it is now,so imo upside is limited,but that's just my opinion.certainly puts erp's dire performance in perspective..i can only hope that there is something going on behind the scenes to give us some positive news re fda(and perhaps china),which will be revealed when the rights issue is over and done.disappointed not to see prospectus news today,but presumably it will be posted by tomorrow.

agree with that dactions. i have been trying to see what, exactly, in today's rns is actually new news. the reference to successfully passing the initial technical analysis is not a phrase i recall seeing before,but happy to be corrected if i am wrong. that may therefore indicate a positive step forward, although im not sure what it means and how much real substance it has.hoping that it does indicate a further positive move forwarded. certainly the presentational summary makes for very positive reading.

wall, have a look back at some of the posts from 3rd and 4th october. you will see some lloyds holders mentioning receiving payments..not with lloyds personally though.

today's update looks pretty positive.certainly so for 2022, although it's understandably a tad cautious for 2023. hopefully positive today for s/p.

morning bignose. completely agree.obviously they need some cash injection, but the majority of the proceeds are actually going to be used to pay off loans,so as you say,it's really just a mechanism to turn the loans ,or the majority of them,into shares.as we know,mellon and co could end up with over 60% and one has to assume that he thinks there will be a successful outcome at the end of the day,to justify putting further funds in. obviously there are other possible interpretations,but for me this i the most compelling one.so expect very poor take up and mellon and co to end up with between 50 and 60%.all just my opinion of course.

agreed. personally i'm expecting a very poor response to the rights issue as such (unless they can do something to push the s/p 20 or 30% above where it is now).so thinking it's going to be mostly down to the underwriters and possibly some placees if they can be strongarmed into participating. just my opinion.
