RE: unsubscribed4 Jan 2023 19:40
evening bignose.ive had a look at the figures and whilst this may not deal with all your queries my take on it is as follows. the figure in yesterdays announcement of 24.87% includes the shares being taken up by mellon galloway and indigo pursuant to the irrevocable undertakings. the figures are mellon 403,806,071 galloway 77,082,353 and indigo 25,791,905, which total 506,680,321 or 21.11%. the balance of 90,179,820 were those taken up by non mellon related participants and was 3.76% of the rights being offered. so 24.87% have been taken up so far, leaving 75.13% to be offered by the placing agent. the total number of rights being offered is 2,400,347,881. the larger figure of 2,468,728,881 mentioned in the original (and the following announcement) was the maximum that might have had to be issued if all the options outstanding at the announcement date had been exercised before the issue went live. none were exercised in practice, so only the lower figure had to be made available in practice. i hope what i'm saying is correct, (i think is )but i agree that they don't go out of their way to present things in a particularly clear way.apolgies if I've missed any of your points,or are telling you things you re already clear on. hope it helps.
