ryanf, with respect your suggested interpretation is not supported by the wording. there is nothing to suggest that the act of repurchase in anyway revives the rights which formerly would have attached to the share,but which will have ceased on the relevant anniversary(or other trigger events).to place your interpretation on matters,would require some specific wording, indicating that the rights which had expired would n some way be revived for the benefit of the next acquirer.there is no such wording and (again wth respect) your interpretation is simply untenable.

afternoon bignose. yes, the chinese recruitment as well. surely on previous comparable occasions that would have resulted in an announcement? im afraid DLI remains an enigma. i do check regularly to see if there is any news, but apart from the odd self promoting tweet,nothing. perhaps as you say something in the profit warning. last year 14th feb. says something when we are looking forward(not sure that's the right description)to a profit warning!

if e disregard the rights issue news and the last news about sale of develop global,we have had no news on developments since 30th august last.now we know there have been some developments (singapore and EU manufacturer) so this apparent blackout is most puzzling.the rights issue has progressed without any update as to the things which investors should,imo,been apprised of to enable them to make a sensible decision as to whether to participate or not.not saying that if we had had news re developments during the right issue process,it would have made any real difference,but it's not hard to imagine that if there was some positive news disclosed increasing the s/p there might have been a bigger uptake by non mellon cohorts.what is more puzzling is why the lack of news continues.obviously it could be the there have been no substantive developments over the last few months,but that in itself,would be odd.

just seen your 16.37 post.i have been following the narrative on the other board and find your comments very apposite.

it's certainly correct that there have been previous items about GO to Gym posted over the last few months,so it's not a new story in that sense. However,what suggest a further substantive development is the language and tone of the latest posting. of course, that is simply the inference i have drawn from my personal interpretation of it and i may be wrong.

afternoon bignose.pleased to see the rise,which, if nothing else, will increase the potential value of the options.could well be to do with the opening up of china,but not sure we will get a big boost from the submission being announced.could do of course,but suspect it will be the news of approval (and consequent receipt of some real revenue) which will move the needle. just hope we don't get the muted response we got to the chinese licence news,although i think news of actual approval should have a much greater impact than simply a licence announcement where it was going to be several years before any actual revenue materialised.i would of course,be very pleased if submission news itself gives us a significant boost.we shall see.
