RE: Subnet performance1 Dec 2025 11:44
The subnet is not not the only thing going south.....cryptos taking another bashing.
I just asked Savant (on the TAO.app website) why SN127 has been hit the last 2 weeks and this was the answer......
"Subnet 127 (SigmaArena) has been getting absolutely hammered the last two weeks - down 31% in 7 days and nearly 10% just today. The selling pressure has been relentless with net outflows of -1,076 TAO over the past week.
Looking at the trading data, there's been a clear pattern of heavy selling volume outpacing buying. Over the last 15 days, sell volume has consistently exceeded buy volume, with some days showing sell volumes over 4,000 TAO while buy volumes struggled to break 3,000 TAO. The worst hit was around Nov 20th when we saw massive sell pressure with net outflows hitting -370 TAO in a single day.
The alpha token price has collapsed from highs around 0.019 TAO per alpha down to current levels around 0.012 TAO - that's a 37% drop from recent peaks. Market cap has been bleeding from over 35,000 TAO to current levels around 23,300 TAO.
This looks like a combination of early investors taking profits after the massive run-up (remember, it's still up 161% over the month), plus likely some panic selling as the price kept dropping. The momentum has been entirely bearish with no real buying interest stepping in to support the price."
