Stas, Mongolia doesn’t have a NOC currently. Until that changes, our expertise is needed to feed the refinery. Re costs, we are operationally geared here. Once the wells are up and running, we have pretty much fixed costs. More oil more profit. This is deep sea oil extraction with all its associated costs. It’s on land. On surface. Oil exploitation in a country where wages are low.

Let’s all pray ADW gets the exit price on his imaginary shareholding asap. This oil is on surface light crude. It’s at the bottom of the cost curve. Remove gas and water. Sell and receive money. 💰

Do people really think all the mining and exploration laws have been re written in recent years but we will be held to a PSC from 2006? Not a chance

We negotiated a PSC for the 2 new blocks. Block 20 will be the same imo

Stas, if there were problems with H2 we’d know by now. I understand your caution. But like you’ve said the flow rate are the beginning. I think by January, they’ll have a lot more info re the reservoir and what type of flow rates we should expect in 2025.

Think the API is 46. It’s crude so basically a process of separation happens. Water and gases Separated out. Pretty easy to do. Flow rates to come.

Doc and investor33 can’t hide how angry they are when MATD rises? It really really upsets them. Imagine spending hundred of hours of your time repeating, ad nauseam, 1000s of negative posts over and over and over again on a stock you own?? 🤔

This has been a great lesson to any newbie investor. As predicted, the negs have disappeared. Their “it’s going to 1p” nonsense a distant memory now. Well done to all genuine holders who exercised independent thinking and tuned out the FUD spreaders.

You are right to point out my clumsy language. This paragraph below may better explain:

“the Contractor is permitted to use the money from produced oil sales, after payment of royalties owed to the host government, to recover its capital and operational expenditures, known as “cost oil”. The remaining money is known as “profit oil” and is split between the government and the Contractor”.    

The PSC was signed in 2006. Don’t be surprised if the terms of the PSC are renegotiated. You’ll noticed that the PSC disincentivises more oil production ie, the more we produce the higher the tax is. This is contrary to the goal of feeding the refinery or making Mongolia energy independent. I’d be flabbergasted if we are bound by an agreement from 2006.

Regarding revenue, bopd and oil price are THE 2 two key factors. Both unknown at this stage. So I’d take any pessimistic figures with a pinch of salt

Finally, to move from a loss making company to revenue producing company is a big step. AND THE FLOW RATES ARE JUST THE BEGINNING. THEY WILL INCREASE
