Hi Proquo, I think we’ve had the outline of an agreement in principle for ages but the financial aspect would have taken time. Since inflation has become such an issue, a deal from even 3 years ago would need to be renegotiated, financially speaking

I must apologise Gkhan, we don’t have a unitisation deal but a MOU. Please read this extract below from 1st march 2021 operations update: 👇

“As part of the Plan of Development preparations Petro Matad and Petro China discussed the technical and commercial aspects of unitisation of the Heron Field which straddles the boundary of Block XIX and Block XX. The companies agreed that unitisation and joint development are not merited due to the nature of the deposit and its relatively small extension into Block XIX. This conclusion has been incorporated into the Heron Plan of Development and will be discussed further with MRPAM at the appropriate time. The MOU also includes the agreement that Petro Matad and Petro China will discuss, agree and formalise how Petro Matad will access Petro China's Block XIX infrastructure to exploit economies of scale and operating efficiencies.”

There was a unitisation deal some time ago between matd and PC. I’ll try and find the RNS. the deal still stands as far as I’m aware

Either people don’t understand the results or don’t want to understand. These are starting flow rates. And the more information we learn about block 20 the more precise new drilling will be.

But I’d advise everyone to ignore and focus on the investment.

Many non holders are here to get a cheap entry and quick trade. I wouldn’t worry about it too much. It’s part of a market. Different strokes for different folks.

Hamm, I’ve been at this game for over a decade and watch level 2 pretty closely. In the short term, the market makers can easily manipulate the price. Setsqx without DMA makes it easy.

Why?

I’m not sure. But they know the mentality of traders and investors. Some have stop losses too. They can shake out retail pretty easily as many follow the price action alone.

Petrovis had agreed to make available to Petro Matad a line of credit of up to $1.5 million, to be drawn when needed to maintain the company's operating capability.

Doc, I’ve had a look through the RNSs but can’t find the specific one re the soft loan from Petrovis. It was contained within another RNS but when I find it I’ll post it. It was probably 2 years ago or maybe even 18 months ago
