@Dedino: Bang on.
I see that GSA increased their short yesterday by 0.14%, may explain that crazy hour yesterday. We will know tomorrow if they closed today. It is a brave person to short at this price. Even at 75p it still looks cheap to me.
I bought another tranch 5 minutes ago, carrying a lot of these at the mo, I have no concerns with this share. If it is not 1200p by the time I am eating my choccy eggs I will be disappointed.
They also affirmed the IDR to BB and VBG’s senior unsecured long-term debt rating to BB. A BB rating indicates an elevated vulnerability to default risk, particularly in the event of adverse economic changes in business or economic conditions over time. However, business or financial flexibility exists that supports the servicing of financial commitments . The rating was changed to negative due to the tine factor but the BB rating is the same. That is why the Share has crashed over 60% in a week. I would have been concerned if it was BB- or a CC or a D. The BB affirmation may have the opposite effect?
@Surprised. An excellent post.
The first significant short @ 0.53%.
Don’t make me laugh, a short starts becoming significant at plus 5%. Petrofac where being shorted at 10% plus at the start of the year and still are, and they ended up bagging. Don’t forget that 99% plus are going long. What is causing the share to dive is fear and maybe MM’s selling off book to drive the price down.
@Shearclass: Even with Sets, you still need Market Makers! They provide the liquidity. What SETS does is reduce the risk but they are still needed. The MM’s carry the stock and they can buy more of a stock, if they so wish. I think the limit used to be up to 4% of issued share capital. MM’s play a big part in influencing the price, believe me.
Back in here in a big way, they will do their best to drop this below 1000p, there will be a fair few stop losses fixed at this level. There will always be a need for pet Doctors, and CVSG are not exactly creaming it in. The CMA action will only continue to polarise the market.
I’m here for the first time, looks good value to me.
I am surprised that I am buying these again at this price, the accounts look alright to me.
