Gkb and Ghia, I could not open the ones sent round yesterday because they need password. The one I am referring was v4 and dealt with Synairgen specifically. A bit like a needle in a haystack on this bb but will try to find it this evening - was a simple pdf page from the trial archive.
Ghia, it was on update V4 which was circulated on this board recently ( a few weeks ago). I was hoping updates would show Synairgen had rejoined but nothing so far. My beef is not with RM or Synairgen - if it were I would not have invested 25% of my ESIPP with them. I am just sick of the twitters on here going on and on about politicians not doing enough. Can I suggest that we leave politicians out of this until the day after Synairgen confirms 500,000 doses in the warehouse?
Equity, I appreciate the forecasts but I would really like to know how many doses would be shipped out by 5pm tomorrow if Johnson announced at 2.30 that Synairgen is THE British product and ready to go. My caution is because it appears Synairgen has already been dropped from a major trial becase the company could not supply product or even concretely confirm when, if ever, they would supply. Success in that trial would have been massive. And the company "paused" COPD to concentrate on COVID but has not finished the at home trial for just over 100 cases.
Equity, great idea but could you just confirm exactly how many doses Marsden has ready to go out to distributors as of, say, 1 o'clock this afternoon. After the testing ****-up Johnson and co might be unwilling to promise the world a second time without proof that suppliers can and will perform.
Trek, the clinical lead for the ACCORD programme is Southampton's Tom Wilkinson - part of the Synairgen PR team after the 20 July results. And apparently the ACCORD trial format was based on the original SNG001 trial. You've got to laugh really.
Will this have any impact on Traumakine use given that it seems not to work with corticosteroids? https://www.who.int/publications/i/item/WHO-2019-nCoV-Corticosteroids-2020.1
