A couple of months ago I would have said no, but maybe, just maybe with the YOP investment, this could become reality..

Obviously there's a lot of 'ifs and buts' with this, but if De-Tech (our crypto company) fulfil their aim to be a unicorn within 3 years, then Pires 15%stake takes us to over £1 /share.

PIRES have lots of other great investments in their stable, and incoming cash will enable more valuable Investments to be made.

This is looking better by the week, and I'm just surprised the Twitter crowd haven't latched on to the cryptocurrency potential

I've been up to 1% in Pires, and a couple of other companies in the past, and it's not beyond the realms of possibility I get set a 3% stake in something..

So, yes , I wondered if that was how you first got on the list, and thanks for sharing.

One of the things I would have liked to have picked your brains about in a phone chat is how you get involved in fundraisers and warrants?

How do you get on the list for company placings etc? Do you need a certain amount of capital on account - or go through a bespoke broker?

I'd rank myself as a small to medium-sized investor , and only recently been curious about fundraising participation.

That's my opinion and they definitely need to raise funds.

Been watching this for a few days and could be a momentum trade before results.

But I've got to question why people are expecting the results' RNS to be good?

In the September trading update the company said the market remained "subdued" and the 1.6 million/ annum savings programme only kicked in last October.

I would doubt that these actions have filtered through to the Bottom Line figures yet..
Maybe during 2021, but wouldn't expect anything startling this January.

We've all done that with shares; there'll be others..but, yes, this has legs - and in some ways may be only the start.

Regarding your 10p, in my experience such an unremitting quick rise is usually followed by a fundraise -either that or a stack of warrants exercised at 4p.

So either it's going to follow a very very unusual path of continued quick rises, or there'll be a lull for fundraise etc - so you may get your 10p or below.

Personally I think even if they do a fundraise and blip in the price I think this will quickly gather steam and push upwards

Personally I'd like to see a placing at circa 8p to consolidate this rise and push on..
As PNick stated this is a good thing (imo) and if it takes the path of AAA even minimally, this is going places.

more money in the war chest would be great for further investments.
they've still got the warrant options to be exercised.. I'm sure that will be coming

I didn't like the idea of Twitter initially - and how its used for one line ramps etc , and misinformation.. although that MO appears omnipresent across all public forums these days.

I think the inscrutable Mr Clark must be trading a few again (c'mon Nick, give me a clue please as I'd like to give you a call regarding warrants here and Trafalgar)

And speaking of warrants, remember there are options on circa 2millon quids worth here, which are exercisable at 4p.

So I'm expecting that at some point with bigger holders taking larger stakes and squeezing the share price up- but with the likelihood of some instant profit taking too.

Probably be a fundraiser at some point but looking at increased value for those, getting us into a virtuous circle of higher value with decreased free float.. with more demand..

Why is AAA nigh-on 100M @ 8 times NAV and we're trading at NAV?

I've got to say that I think AAA will have one almighty crash at some point, but for anyone who's been in in for the last 8-months, it's been life-changing . The figures don't make any sense to me.

However it only serves to focus that relative frustration about PIRI .
The Market certainly works in mysterious ways .

Regarding prospects ...yes..the nature of a Meta investment strategy here..is a statistical probability one really.
Throw a dozen high- prospect companies against a wall , and one or two will stick.

Regarding AAA, One, Tern , Braveheart et al.. I still Believe PIRI will catch up..
But I'm also mindful of changing circumstances in the world, with sectors going in and out of Vogue.

Sometimes time is of the essence, but that's another parameter that's impossible to predict

An interesting read, as always, Nick..and I, for one , appreciate your import.

My frustration is more short-term tbh, and more to do with personal discipline regarding investing

As regards PIRI long term , I also don't think it's unreasonable to expect above 20p.

I don't like talking share price, when Market Capital is more relevant ; I think it's fair to envisage a £20M+ market cap at some point IF 2 or3 of Pires' investments take off.

For instance, YOPfi is highly speculative but in a space where are its value could grow quickly into tens of millions - with PIRI owning 15%
Several others in the SV portfolio have the same potential - albeit with PIRI at circa 2%>>
As with Low6 - a successful IPO and and launch in the USA as planned, could see a burgeoning MC.

With PIRi presently at around 5 million, is easy to see this lifting substantially with two or three successes.
What's hard to gauge is the chance of success individually of these enterprises.

To be honest if you are comparing managed funds, they generally will follow market trends.
Boring, but a steady stream of income as long as we're in an uptrend.

But the idea of investing in PIRI is to embrace potentially Blockbuster products, and be part of that exponential rise upwards.

I wouldn't go for bigger funds personally, although safer.

I'm in it to try to make money but also enjoy the ride. And I suppose PIRi sn't giving either at the moment. .
It is a game of patience, and I suppose the proof of the pudding will be early to mid 2021.

You're quite right Roley.. a profit is a profit.. I sometimes I wish I was a prophet!

I'm just projecting my own displaced frustration with myself for chasing this share up - a habit I'd long since given up.

I was intent on getting load at 3P but got caught out with the rise, so chased it. My Average is 4 p now, but I think your tactic is quite right.

Although at some point I'm hoping it will take off and not come back down again
