My guess is they'll want to leave it as long as they can to have as much commercial positivity as they can get into it... its actually a big one, during this last year the HCV test has received its WHO pre-qualificiation and commercial sales beginning, the AIHL test is now in market with commercial sales beginning, and the USDOD bought another 500 Genedrive units to test for who knows what in who knows where ;) and then COVID, probably the biggest single source of near term revenue imaginable for Genedrive, along with the potential to tie in with its POC device. DB will I am sure be enjoying writing this one!

I think one thing is for certain, we are almost guaranteed an RNS next week for the end of the finial year and a market update. Tomorrow will be interesting as the RNS could come at any time. Just year it was the 9th so this time next week. Will it come before? When it does it will have a commercial update. Exciting days ahead!

I think unfortunately at times of crises you take people at their word. At the time it was pretty obvious that there hadn't been enough time to create the test so it wasn't a surprise to everyone I don't think. What was poor in my mind was the suppliers were demanding large minimum order quantities and demanding payment upfront. Poor show.

we also know from @flying that the DCGI lab appears to have had issues with their equipment, suggesting results have only just been submitted, @flying is that your take?

@amdy, let's see where they are at the end of the day, I'd prefer to have an RNS thats not caveated because I know that when we do that this current share price will be long gone. A lot of support for our £50m market cap ahead of those commercial sales... it's in no way a bad position, patience wins...

ODX really, "Approval for sale remains conditional on the submission of supporting technical data", basically they are on a list of suppliers who say they have a test coming, the ability to sell the test is conditional on them showing it works which they've not yet done. Wow, what an RNS!

For sure if the people who posted on this bulletin board were in charge the Company would be in trouble!

@flying, sorry found your original post. Interesting. From what you say thats now all in hand and the data complete and with DCGI, should be soon. I guess its what has also delayed sales news as India will be big first market I suspect.

seems like the SRO listing prevents FDA employees from trading stock in that business, like an 'insider' I guess as they'll have access to data that is price sensitive. At least it shows we are in-play there!

Hmmm, ok, I suspect its not the DOD as its not a product that needs FDA, I see it looks like Genedrive was added to the SRO list due to the EUA submission, all positive pointers I guess

Hopefully we will find out shortly and recover some of the costs involved in getting the FDA approvals. As it sits outside the scope of the main business I agree with their strategy of selling it. As you say we shall see where they get too...

@Drax, if we we not sat at an inflated market cap I could see your position, but really if you believe that AI has the capacity to transform the medical imaging industry then this really is a good entrance point. I originally bought in a just below 2p and sold my original investment at 10p to leave the profit in here. I bought a significant chunk. IB has a really interesting suite of SW in an emerging area of the tech industry. There aren't many UK listed businesses in this space which makes it even more interesting... of course there are always risks but this seems to have most basis covered...
