A lot more trading happening since Friday, a good churning of holders. I'll add more over the week before sales and approvals news hits, I actually don't now care if this falls further, I can pick them up half the price I sold at with news to come. Happy days!

I agree it's been a little frustrating, but consider the fundamentals and consider that nothing has changed and the speed is being dictated by external groups being slow in registering approvals. Companies will not order from GDR until approvals are in place, and many will now be looking at what their demand is likely to be and place orders once approvals are in place. It makes it very difficult fro the Company to update the market other than to say they have some confirmed orders lined up in 11 countries for when approvals drop.

Keep the faith everyone, not long to go here, days or weeks until the company can be rated on confident sales predictions, certainly the current market cap is very low considering the sales that are on the horizon, that hard bit is done.

@flying, agree wholeheartedly with your assessment. Genedrive has created a sophisticated set of tools and whilst there are other tests in market that got into sales sooner, I do believe genedrive will find significant volumes of sales in the coming months. It’s my main bet at least, I do have a small bet on AVCT but not for their POC but for their mass spec test.

I think DB has done an excellent job considering the development of what is a sophisticated integrated test compared to the competition. This takes time and approvals have taken longer. He has set and delivered expectations and had approvals not been delayed there’d be more sales booked. Give it a few more weeks and I suspect significantly more sales announced.

I read on this board about instrument issues causing delays in generating the data from the Indian government labs. Not in DBs control at all.

Don’t have a view on GP.

POC unit will be using the same test and same algorithms. It’s validating saliva as the sample type that will take the time. I suspect then that they are already in trials. I expect news flow in this after the summer, early autumn.

DIVOC, I have a good feeling about these guys and india. Particularly some Gate’s subsidy...

Approvals can come at any time, unfortunately there’s no fixed timeline. As I understand it the Indian approvals were delayed because the instrument the official test lab used broke down and this delayed data submission, this is now in. You don’t submit bad data so I suspect approvals shortly. Certainly weeks not months. FDA also in a similar position.

I don’t share the opinion this is now a downward spiral. Some may and I suspect will take advantage of the delays which are not Company induced, they’re just approvals process dependent. Sales lining up. For us LTHs this is a great position for the business. I expect market cap to rise over the coming 6, 12 and 18 months as more sales and more tests develop.

What a mad day Friday was. Next steps here are approvals and then sales. Lots of sales. Let’s see what the share price does but I suspect a recovery ahead of the next set of announcements that support large sales volumes....

@RM, that is a shame. GDR have a test for a disease that is growing and a proven POC platform to take testing out of the laboratory, hitting the market on multiple fronts. I don't see anyone else with the same offer. My view. I hold my shares long term in whatever I invest in, I understand others have a more transient share strategy.

@Hyper, the problem with existing tests is the 'interpretation' is not automated because its a research based platform. What Genedrive have done is layered a more clinical SW to automate the results calling which is neat. Rather like a driverless car, not just a new car.

@scart, agree. There are a lot of people discounting the RNS today and not understanding what's involved in delivering a diagnostic test to market. At the start of the pandemic tests were not available and regulators quickly passed tests through, good and bad. Now the process is a little more nuanced. That doesn't mean the market isn't there, indeed £1m of pre-orders in the short space of time is encouraging. In 6-12 months we will have a completely different picture about Genedrive potential and its POC test too. At the moment we are subject to the games people play.

@gee, I tend to agree. Lots of 'development value' being lined up so that the Company is attractive to a larger business in the market. Interesting times ahead for sure.

@bogyo, I don't think the EU is the largest market at the moment as lock downs have reduced the need for testing. Second wave will change that but India and Africa are stallion the exponential rise.
