This share will correct very quickly. I suspect approvals news is more imminent that we think, certainly this week or next for India and US. Let’s see what tomorrow’s price does, I’ve got some wiggle room to buy more.

@Dave, wholeheartedly agree, this will recover quickly once traders buy in larger volumes...

@sam, the NHS and PHE a complete nightmare, poorly managed, we should keep well clear and let whoever is supplying them have the demand, we should sell to India and the African continent. POC is another matter, we have a unique product to sell there and I suspect that's where the focus is as Genedrive already used in the NHS. Once adopted for COVID the penny will drop and many more diagnostic tests will be run on Genedrive at POC....

@DV, it sure is ;-D, I meant last Friday. We've had weeks and weeks of low trading volume, that normally suppresses the price as the MM can't gauge demand. This too shall pass :)

@sam, look at the volume, peanuts, its only the smaller retail investors selling out thats taking this down, replaced thank goodness for investors with better expectations.

just look at the trading volume in comparison to yesterday or to where the share price moves upwards... there is little volume and MMs have to take the price down to find a level. Whilst volume is small the price will fall. Once news is in and volume returns this will go up. Sentiment is 'we're waiting for news', until then holders that feel compelled to sell for whatever reason will. BUT this really is short term since the sales volumes are going to take many (not all) by surprise....

The market cap of £37m is absolutely ridiculous. The volume of share trading and size of trades shows this is all retail traders. The market cap now probable below where the II's can come in and those that are in are probably sat on nice profits already and 'in for free' as they say, why risk more?

I see the following happening...

Retail traders continuing to fall out with the SP and ditching over the coming days until either those that might sell have all churned and gone, or news on approvals come in.

Once approvals come in I think we will quickly see updates on sales and I suspect these will be large and the market cap will rise fast. The POC news then POC market entry toward end of year. Lots to come and the fundamentals are immensely strong in my opinion.

What to do? Well as I have said I will take a daily view on share price, where it could fall too and what the risk is. Any buying at these prices will soon be in profit on any news so it's a no brainer. Poker time guys.

@sam, ha not at all, I've been more than open with my trading pattern here. If I was de-ramping I'd not be telling you all I bought :) I'm a LTH, opportunity to buy in whilst the price is going lower than we all thought.

Hmmm, maybe news new tomorrow then, a big drop here. I think my next entry point will be 70p or even 65p

@LP I agree, I suspect the same, the IM is a seeding order with DIVOC and as soon as Indian approvals are in we will get an RNS

my earlier buys of 10k and 5k shares are correctly shown as buys

25% spread, come on MMs give us a break, some of us want to buy so please move it up or down but with a tighter spread

@tea, there is NO chance in my opinion that they won't be able to sell product once they have approvals. They have £1m sales lined up and I suspect more will come rapidly with approvals.

Agree, individual posters don't move the share price the MM's do based on volume and volume of buys and sells, we';ve had low volume and this tends to force a share down. But I do believe that bad sentiment plays into the hands of the MMs who want to create a demand for the shares, they make their cut on trades, so which direction a share travels can be understood if there is a wider frustration in sentiment. I think the MM have played a game based on news flow. Nobody's fault I might add, just what happens.

good for you Sam, I'm holding off buying more and will review on a daily basis depending on where the price is. Will it drop more, fk knows, so I'm carefully deciding each day now until news comes in. I suspect we are 1-2 weeks away, when it does then sales will follow and the price will rise....

@tea, I'm liking the share price, we've had weeks of people talking the share price down and you know what, now they got what they were harping on about which is great because it can only go so far before news is in and the fall will be reversed. After weeks of hearing people bank pin about no news, falling back to the placing price, moan, moan, moan, they can't moan now its where they said it would be. A buying opportunity and I'm now glad I sold some at £1.55 and I can now buy and wait...

@Safy, I would argue you are as much letting emotions get to you now. Fundamentals stronger now than before and share price even better to buy than before. Sales will come and market cap will grow proportionately. It's all about sales short term, POC updates medium term, POC sales and new test development long term. What's not to like!

EE, Safy, it comes down to sample. If saliva can be used instead of nasopharyngeal swabs we are on to a winner, otherwise it will require some careful sample taking which will limit its applicability in my view. Those swabs are tricky (and unpleasant) and are what is leading to false negatives as samples have not been taken correctly from what I read in the literature. Saliva removes those issues and anyone can take a saliva sample. Hopefully GDR will tell us how that is looking after their approvals and sales RNSs....

Cheers EE. My take is that the share drifted down due to lack of news and the MMs know that long term there will be a steady rise back up as sales underpin a market cap much higher than where it is today. Until then the retail market is providing cheap shares. As soon as we hit £1m, £10m, £25m sales the market cap shoots up, until then there is little risk in them taking the price down.
