I originally bought here in January 2019 and after the shenanigans last year simply put these away for a while. Are there any broker notes on target prices that holders are aware of that have some substance behind them? I think the last I saw was 0.65p, is that the general opinion still?

Thanks for posting LP, I think it's all reasonable, certainly they couldn't pull the wool over anyones eyes. Submissions would only be based on good, credible data so we will get approvals shortly in all the territories we're going after. Just a matter of time everyone, just a matter of time

thin trading again today, we're in a dead calm until news drops then there'll be a maelstrom as the buying frenzy takes us back up where we belong, until then I have another buy order set for 60p just in case.... these delays are not technical issues, they are simply timings with the regulators.

@sam, I really don't know. It shouldn't be tanking like this, there is so much upside to this Company and sales starting to come in. Trading seems slight, and sentiment is this is going down until sales come in, so I am just trickle buying until it finds a new level.... who knows sadly. But it must rise significantly when those sales numbers start to accumulate.

@tea, agree, the only difference here is that the NHS is already using Genedrive for the antibiotic induced healing loss test so they should have some internal advocates for the product. I do think (and I think we'll agree on this) that the company is moving from a 'development' to a 'sales' business and they need to bolster their sales team significantly here. I was asked my opinion on GP the other day, I suspect he needs to pull his finger out now and do what he is paid to do and any gaps in his abilities will be royalty shown here if there are any. Let's see, in a months time if we are not sat at say £5m orders / sales I think I'd be questioning the sales team a little more than I am right now with approvals not granted.

Hi Tea, different market requirements and different product. Roche sell into large established lab networks that are geared up for high throughput testing. They dominate this space and hospitals have contracts in place with these larger diagnostic businesses.

In the emerging markets these infrastructures are not in place and the GDR product has advantages that are particularly suited. No mixing or robotics requirements, use on standard lower cost equipment allowing scaling of testing, room temperature stability on arrival and fir the duration of the products shelf life. These things don't matter the EU. I continue it's a smart move to target those emerging markets.

POC is a different matter and it will be a disgrace if the UK doesn't adopt Genedrive POC as its home grown POC solution. They should be investing in those trials if they are not already.

Genedrive POC has a better chance in the EU, their high throughput test has better chance is ROW. The EU is a difficult market diagnostics wise and the UK even more peculiar!

@dave the POC solution would need to be validated against the lab based tests to show how it performs. This is made more ‘involved’ as it also needs comparing versus nasopharyngeal swabs versus saliva. I think DB is being cautious because of the length of time these studies might take, access to samples and access to fresh positive samples as part of a study takes time to get approvals for despite the pandemic.

The existing test can be used so their best bet is to compare like with like. But it’s not being used anywhere yet, suspect the full clinical trial then is waiting for that element to fall into place.

We could see an announcement on the POC at the end of the summer period I think. At least an update on expected timelines. I suspect DB will do this after sales of the existing test start being announced.

@hyper, when sales come in the value of the business is easy to calculate based on some multiple of sales, it becomes a different business. Once there this market cap will seem small. I suspect sales of £20m-£30m will give us a £100m+ market cap. Share price will recover! Don’t panic

@new the last few weeks have been brutal that’s for sure. Hopefully light is at the end of the tunnel for us regular holders...
