Top up at £86.78... really tight spread which is always good news. I expect this to be above £1 shortly as news is closer than it was yesterday!

We should break the £1 today and back into the £1.20-£1.50 support range ahead of news. It seems like everyone has taken their positions now and the dust has settled. We have contracts coming together, probably a lot more than was in the last RNS waiting for the approvals to drop into place. Exciting times that's for sure.

For complete transparency I did invest in Avacta based on their BAMS test as it will be used in a niche setting and will probably do well there. But, my main COVID holding (95%) is here!

Hi LP, the BAMS is definitely interesting, but it's not a replacement for qPCR. BAMS requires specialist mass spec equipment which most diagnostic labs don't have. For the few that have started looking at MS as a diagnostic tool it will be great and they'll sell into that pool of research groups interested in MS as a diagnostic tool, for the rest qPCR is the established tool and there is no reason to invest in yet more capital equipment as it doesn't offer anything new for most...

Agree BB, even an update on the POC development, where they are, organised clinical trials, what milestones are needed and outward timelines based on experience. Even being candid. That set's him up for future regular updates along the way.

There was a lot of support around 150p, the sell off from there was on very thin trading so we should get back there ahead of news.

We often forget that as well as the lab based test which will provide big revenues when approved in the US and India, we also have our POC platform that basically takes the test anywhere and everywhere. The US DOD already use the Generdrive platform to test for biothreat agents and have ordered 500 more units to deploy, the NHS use the Genedrive for screening children before antibiotic use to prevent hearing loss as a new standard of care, and the WHO approved the Genedrive for HCV testing at POC, one of a very selected few... Genedrive is going places

Agree Sam, I was trying not to appear overly 'rampy'. There are lots of income streams coming on line here, exciting times for GDR holders. My hope is we see this back into the £1.20-£1.50 territory ahead of news then backup into the £2's and higher as the sales accumulate and people see the inherent values booked

great to see the trading volume return, we were certainly walked down on previously thin trading. My prediction on sales is we'll see a £100m market cap as sales opportunity become apparent. Hopefully over the £1 level today then upwards on news.

I have two limit orders to buy that have not settled. Suggests nobody is selling or buying at the moment. MM have to lower or raise this... frustrating when you can't even trade.
