@Cwalsh, I've been here since 2016 so clearly not unbiased in my view, I would say that what's happening now is exactly why I invested in the first place and their Genedrive POC device is a clever POC device that sets it apart from others. The market is huge, there's room for everyone and hopefully these products will save lives.

I think each group will have their own pressures on their investments, rather like private investors, if you need the cash out for something you cash out, and generally you cash out of things that you're sitting pretty with. But it's all guesswork. I don't think they have specific insider information that's making them sell which would be the other way of looking at it!

I'm guessing they're churning their investment and making the profits available for new investments they have lined up. They won't want to sit on funds that they can invest into new business and their model means this is all upside to their original investment in GDR.

agree, reliant obviously on sales / approvals, but the market is large and the opportunities for both GDR and NCYT beyond COVID are massive. As a long term holder I am so pleased GDR have the product for the moment. Looking forward for those next RNSs!!

NCYT has become a really nice yard stick for GDR...

@aspers, all lined up here once approvals drop in, if they do then a multiple of todays price is on the cards because of the markets and partners the business has. If they don't then todays market cap is probably correct based on existing product contracts and initial market entry.

There is so much pent up interest here, when Indian or US approvals land or a big contract to deliver tests, this will move quickly. I think most people who want to be in are in... we're travelling soon

Genedrive IS making revenue, it is selling product to the US DOD and have sold a few hundred units to them and additional tests. It has also started selling its HCV assay and is in an early sales of its antibiotic induced hearing loss test.

We have to consider the market cap not the share price since 2015. When I invested in 2016 the market cap was around £49m, at the highs I think it got to £70m, other LLTHs will correct me if I'm wrong. So at todays price we are valued the highest we have ever been.

That's not to say we are not undervalued, I think when sales drop and the scale of GDR's carve out of the bits of the markets it has are known, then we could see several multiples added to the market cap.

The former director Rylands hasn’t sold any shares during the entire period since COVID. I’m sure he could have if he wanted to. This shows support for the business and an understanding that there’s a lot more to come.
