What the RNS said reading between the lines

1. Trials of the POC test is drawing to and end and have shown successful performance give company confidence
2. This will allow submission for CE-IVD marking at the beginning of 2021
3. Sales expected by the end of Q1 2021
4. Already developing version 2 which will allow beaded mass produced version, possibly with secondary targets like Influenza - OK that last part is a guess!

This does smell like a trade sale shortly....

This confirms the POC device is currently in trials. I have heard access to saliva samples which have to be coordinated via PHE have been difficult to access making development of systems slow. But this suggest their data would be available for CE-IVD at the end of the year and then they’ve allowed 1-3 months for the approvals process. Seems reasonable. We need that RNS on the plate sales.

They've missed a sales and marketing opportunity in that flyer, the fact that its pre-dosed in the plate so you just add sample. It's an omission that makes the product sound like all the others out there when it isn't.

He is completely free to say that the company will be able to update the market shortly, what he is not allowed to do do is give specific details of what might be announced.

Hmmm, is that strictly true, if he told someone 'positive news', or specific news was on the way that would be true, but simply saying 'news is coming soon' isn't breaking any insider confidence :-D

I think BC have a number of contracts lined up, as soon as that FDA EUA comes in then those cogs will start moving. The LinkedIn activity around the announcement from BC and the fact BC made it public on their own website makes it obvious that there is commercial manoeuvring in the background.

It is, I can smell WHO, ICMR and FDA EUA all coming in quick succession. I can also smell something around a SA contract and other African territories. As if that all wasn't enough, I smell an RNS around Genedrive POC saliva, possibly straight into a CE-IVD approvals. Time will tell!

PP yes that was what I was trying to say, I assumed trades are printed as a complete transaction, a single seller sells 850k and a single matched buyer buys 850k - no balancing otherwise that is surely open to price manipulation?!

Plant, are you saying we expect to see the trades appear twice? I thought these were single transactions, someone sold 850k and someone bought 850k. It's a massive trade for one entity to pick up, I wonder who! all good!
