Speedy, it is reassuring that you believe SD is of good character and i don't doubt his ambition - in fact that is one of my concerns! I guess that i am just gettimg impatient and would rather have another 4 pumps working on dewatering than 4 non execs in the board room. Hopefully all will come good soon.
Hopefully, you highlight share price ups and downs of adriatic metals and ask if i would have sacked the ceo - answer no , because over the period you identify the sp has doubled and gyrated on its way. Whereas SD has endured the gyrations but in a down ward direction. I did not say he should be sacked - you assumed that was my thought - what i want to see justified is the employment of a very expensive set of non execs whilst we are actually just spectators in the mining game at this time. I feel shareholders are being taken advantage of and it has the feel of a club for the aussies paid for by the poms.
Just bought another £10k in hope and expectations of more great news soon!
Hopefully, another way of looking at this is, we have employed a very expensive team to sit alongside SD and watch the senior partner get on with the job of creating a mine and being well paid for it.
The sp is the real arbiter of ceo performance .
Dug, thanks - but to prove it is misleading we would need Bupa [ideally] or a number of patients to say that never happened , and even if we proved that , the statement is one of intent and his lawyer would say an honest intent.
Any other ideas?
Meanwhile anyone got any idea as to why someone would elect for a PSE at £750 in place of a MRI at £300?
LBview, correct and shareholders like myself got nowt - we were hanging on the promises by Tom Joules that he was working on an equity raise to rescue the company, which was in part true - funny how only he benefitted. Of course JD will be have more honourably .
Kong, what specifically can you point to; i.e rns number x quotes etc? If you can do that I am happy to write to FCA - have done so before.
Meanwhile I asked my gp what he knew about PSE tests and it was clear he had never heard of them. I explained what i knew and he said ' why would you bother with a PSE test for £750 if a MRI is £300 ? ' I said I thought it was all about accuracy and avoidance of unnecessary biopsys and i would happily pay for ither or both it reduced my worries. He also said there would need to be transport to the Oxford lab [ 40 miles] and ideally the tests would need to be rolled out to the other labs where the logistics were sorted. I was thinking of sending him a folllow up email and should be grateful for anything I can say that answers the question , why a PSE in place of a MRI. Comments gratefully recieved.
Med, taking a company private is not a buy out. They justs announce 'we intend to delist' and after that date 'you may experience difficulty in trading your shares' [understatement of the year.] Then radio silence and your shares are shown on your pf as delisting in my experience. Then you have to search companies house to look for accounts every year or so . It is absolutely hopeless in my experience. Meanwhile the private company can increase the director salary to whatever they like to siphon off the profits.
I am seeing my gp about another matter but , assuming time allows , ask what they think of PSE tests. Just now I am thinking that they will have heard nothing - we shall see and I will report back.
Sheltie, why should they suspend - there is no news beyond the rns statements which more or less said, this is going private unless some mad person bids. Who on earth would do that with JD as a major holder ? this needs to be in admin before any entity comes forward imv.
I am looking forward to the closing down sale! I have a 70 year old relative who said it is the best place for a decent woolen jumper , which will surely be cheap once as we enter warmer weather. Maybe JD should relaunce as ' Sagadry' ?
Nobody voted for net zero and our government will soon realise that supporting that goal by all means at their disposal will be their undoing ,as it will labour's in due course. I think we have a tough 6 years ahead unless the two main parties are replaced by more people friendly parties.
For me the big unknowns are progress with dewatering , [are we emptying lake victoria or something smaller] and what will happen to the 70%. I think we are due some sort of opinion on how much progress has been made on the former.
