So, with the B52 contract sewn up, and reports in the newspapers that Bojo is committed to backing production of small nuclear reactors in the UK, where will we be on Monday?? Exciting, eh?
Market Maker Westy.
Nzonze, rising sea level has nothing to do with increased volume due to temperature rises, more due to melting ice on the planet. BTW, which planet are you from?
AZ too. No problems. 2nd dose soon.
"...also if the airplanes are grounded for a very long period they will be a danger to use them as they might go rusty. from lack of use &will have to be serviced."
Go rusty? I'm glad you don't make aeroplanes. And I think you'll find they're serviced regularly anyway.
The only reason I don't filter ValueInvestor is that he makes me laugh. Constant drivel.
More and more favourite holiday destination countries are announcing they're open for business without the need to quarantine (there or on return). This bodes well for summer travel. Yes, there are still countries that are having to go into lockdown (Italy for example), but I think they are in the minority. Lots of these European countries need tourism, and will do their utmost to make sure they remain open for business. I think come May, we will see a marked increase in flights.
Lloyd, the art is to sell when you want, at a profit that you are happy with. To sell at the peak is sheer luck. Enjoy your hotel.
And before you say it again, it's "patience" dear boy/girl!
Ha! That made me chuckle out loud Johnny. Nice one.
I use Barclays and have never had any problem with them.
...at 112.9p
......I got my limit order at 113p filled eventually!
I was wondering earlier if they might close the gap-up, so put in a cheeky limit order to add a top-up at 113p. Ha! Who knows? Might even get it fulfilled. Nearly got there at 113.33p earlier.
Well, not as bad as some had predicted. A lot of us here are painting a superb picture of the RNS, and understandably so, but the bonus for me is that the market, which is far less swayed by overly optimistic views, has (for the moment at least) regarded it fairly well, and I'm hopeful that it will remain so, perhaps rising further into the close today. There might be the odd swing here and there, but looks pretty hopeful to me so far. GLA.
To be honest, I don't particularly care which way it goes tomorrow, as I've got an eventual target price, and I'll hold 'til then. I'll get it eventually for sure.
Holding.
Not sure why that got duplicated.......
Yep (though I don't in all likelihood have that long!). But RR is not only one of our flagship companies, it's also a world class company, and will continue to lead with innovative engineering that solves some of the problems we face as a world going forward. Yes, there'll be hiccups, but long term it's a no-brainer.
