Yes, as you say, very painful. Sadly I had no spare readies when it dropped down there to take advantage of it. Glad you are back in profit!
Still holding, and still needing another 19p to break even. More hopeful than I've been for a while though! Happy New Year everyone. I'm feeling profits ahead......
They'll turn a profit!
I mean that I assumed the UT price was the "previous close". Hence my original question and puzzlement.
Botbot, yes, I know the UT price isn't the same as the opening price the following day, merely the "previous close". But thanks.
JTT I was close! It was only from my limited memory tbf. I was hoping for a reply from Nettles but I guess he was busy preening or attacking his salmon!! PSK answered my question. Perhaps he had an element of doubt. "When in doubt, wash". GL to you and Nettles. A source of continued amusement and insight.
Thankyou PSK!
Hi all, something that has puzzled me for many years is at 4.30 p.m. there is a COP price. 5 mins are usually given for UT trades etc. giving what I regard as the closing price, which today was posted on Google as 90.69 I believe. When I looked back later I saw a 5.10 p.m. price of 88.52! Can anyone enlighten me as to why this is, and what is regarded as the COP SP for the following day? Just polite feedback please!! Some may regard it as a stupid question, but it's puzzled me for years!
If you genuinely are concerned why not sell half and hedge your bets?
CW, when companies borrow money for investment I imagine they do so on a fixed interest/time deal . Anything other could be catastrophic. RR's debt is quite unlikely to be affected by short-term changes in interest rates. And any ongoing debt will be negotiated at rates that are consistent with the times.
Well Lisa, you go ahead and short it to 40p.......good luck with that. I have more chance of winning the lottery.
Berth even.
Sp 4.55% up after little more than 10 mins trading.......... does someone know something we don't?
Bullish my foot! The Fool finishes by saying he'd consider adding RR to his portfolio if the sp dropped below 80p. Buch of wallies over at Motley.
I'll translate for the board.......for "of" "of" read "have" "have". Not sure what language the post was in, but I have a universal Star Trek translater. Handy for some posts on here!
I thought Goldy was referring to another, newer bid. I know the other rumour came to nothing.
Do you have evidence for that?
Perhaps in 2-3 minutes we'll spike back up to £1.20!
Haha! One wonders whether your investment strategy is alcohol fuelled. I wish you good luck!!!
Are you for real????
