Hi all, just wondering what the chartists here make of the fact that since we seem to have now broken out from the Oct/Nov 21 highs, there is nothing on the 5 year chart between the current price and £2.35 in 2020. I'm no chartist. Any views?
Quite. It dropped about 0.4p today!! I was so worried!!
"Shall we have a whip round for Kintbury?"
No. Let's throw a party for them with some of our profits!
Perhaps they'll change their name to Skintbury!
That surprises me Ronnie! But I won't lose any sleep over it if that is the case.........serves them right. I am not a fan of shorting, Doesn't seem gentlemanly! Ha!
Surely Kintbury will have had a long position as well, as a hedge? What they lose in the short they'll gain in the long. Or am I being naive?
Rr101.......sweet indeed! Re nukes.......Putin's one and only aircraft carrier is basically a rust bucket with serious problems, like much of his military equipment. Somehow I doubt if his nukes are much different, and would still work anyway! And re profit taking.....surely most would have done that today? I imagine most serious RR holders would still be holding. Such a fantastic annual report today has given us all a great boost ! There may be minor hiccups, ahead but I really believe the trend is further upward movement. How far?? Lord knows!
.....that was a day to remember! Patience rewarded. Even did a bit of trading today to add a few hundred quid to the bank balance. Still holding my main tranche........hoping for further gains. Can it possibly go up again tomorrow??? GLA.
All you doomsters predicting a fall to 70 - 90p, ask yourselves why the short position is not increasing. Apart from the notorious JPM all the other brokers have a more confident outlook.
I think most ysts are all the same really, but some are more so than others.
I find it interesting that only two fund managers are holding significant ( > 0.5% ) shorts on RR. Which really makes me wonder why JPM consistently provide underweight ratings, and targets around 60 - 70p. I know people keep saying they must have an agenda, but if so, why not hold a bigger short position? Puzzling.
Yawn!
If so, I think he/she is lost , and on this board. I imagine if you contact Admin they'll let you know where you can collect him/her.
Why does the forum blank out parts of user names that resemble other words? Nonsensical. Clearly I didn't use the term ****!
****nal....it would just be fun to flood his inbox!
Since the factories haven't been built yet, and it will be these factories that manufacture the parts/modules, I fail to see how any parts are being manufactured at present. They haven't even decided yet on the wherabouts of the first factory to be built, merely a shortlist of three sites. A decision on that will me made this year according to RR 's last press release. So what parts are you saying are being manufactured exactly Minvest?
Yes.......I just hope someone finds some support in government. Altogether a total bunch of ******s in reality!
Yes. RR. is not going to disappear. It is going to rise like a Phoenix. A "nice long term hold in one of the world's leading companies (non sic)". Absolutely.
Yep, but we're in a bit of an uptrend at the moment, and long may it last! My ave is now around £1.25 having topped up recently at around £1.18 . Things are looking a little rosier these days (excluding Putin). I'm still happy to sit on mine......no immediate need to sell up. Assuming no WW3 I think this year could be a bit of a winner for RR. There........I'll take off my rose-tinted specs and just shut up! GLA!
I wish this forum had laughing emojis available!
