Interest in Beutong is the most significant news released today. And talk of more drilling there in 2020/1. That wasn’t mentioned in the webinar, so clearly things are moving nicely with Beutong.

It looks like a good product to me. I think more likely to appeal to restaurants than pubs. Does it come in black as well as white? I went to one of The Ivy restaurants recently and they had an offering with a similar column but with a foot pump - ended up squirting the gel over my shoes... The WSG mister would have been preferable.

I hope TM is talking big numbers, but I have my doubts. I’m holding for the deal though. TM has said in his interview it won’t be fireworks at this end of the deal, but hopes we will reap the rewards once in production. I have concerns however about how profitable BKM will be for a minority stakeholder loaded with debt. Here’s hoping TM surprises us.

Did they ever get as far as applying for a permit? Most of Kalimantan has been turned in to a giant palm oil farm. What’s a few drill holes amongst friends ;-)

I don’t know why some idiots are complaining that the results are the same as the trading update. They should be the same!

It’s been a decent six months for the company in the face of adverse trading conditions. Only the pond life here are complaining.

I can’t help thinking about what might have been for Asiamet. When they were at 10p per share and valued at 100 million GBP with strong share price momentum for drilling results, they could have done a 10 million equity raise, put half in to the BKM feasibility study, and the other half into further exploration of the KSK sites like Baroi. Steve Hughes was chomping at the bit to do more exploration. The new discoveries would have kept the SP buoyant whilst BKM got brought towards production.

Hindsight of course is a fine thing.

So let’s say Asiamet retain 35% of KSK. What is the anticipated annual profit (not income) from BKM, assuming annual production of 25,000 tonnes of copper?

26% upswing won’t have gone unnoticed by the traders. They’ll be in tomorrow.

In the webinar, TM briefly alluded to some new Thai investors. Said they’d bought in and were likely to buy more. Obviously still below threshold for announcement. Wonder if they were the £50k buyer this morning? Hopefully more to come.

Sounds to me like it’s going to be 10-20 million USD for a majority stake in KSK, with some sort of binding commitment to start production. Clearly TM sees the value not in the sale of a percentage of KS, but in the percentage retained in a producing copper company.

So the yield is still over 5% at this price. Should bring some new investors in.

A lot of people whinging here. Revenue up despite global crisis, in profit, 1.6 million in the bank. What’s not to like? Dream company for new investors

Would be really nice if this happened now... perhaps holding back to September when the traders are back from their summer hols (whatever they are these days...)

Final, I found that info about Saudi very surprising as well. I’m sure we were told in the past the company is already bidding for large contracts? Saudi is only just opening up, and I’m sure there will be loads of red tape, ar*e kissing, borderline corrupt steps to go through to get the necessary accreditation, but company should have pointed that out last year. Selective with the truth as ever.

For all those patiently waiting for a game changer, Saudi is lead horse. Can they pull it off? Having the Sheikh on board will certainly help.

He has never failed to get the price above 10p in order to raise funds when needed, including when the company’s balance sheets were far weaker than now. It will go above 10p again, which is why I’ve bought more today.

11% spread is ridiculous. Market makers kill these lower volume aim shares with this nonsense.
