Intercede and Device Authority investigate how the exponential growth of telemedicine by healthcare systems during the Covid pandemic has left them open to potential cyberattacks.
Healthcare systems have been utilising Internet of Medical Things devices to allow staff to remotely monitor vital signs such as heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and blood pressure, that have created huge benefits for the healthcare industry but opened them up to cyber risks they are not presently prepared for.
