Wyld Networks sign an agreement with Elio Tecnologia to deploy Wyld Connect for agriculture in Latin America

Wyld Networks satellite connectivity provides soil and weather sensor data to compliment Elio Tecnologia’s drone derived imagery to refine agronomy models and meet productivity and sustainability goals for the agriculture sector. Elio Tecnologia's intention is to install more than 5,000 terminals on agriculture in Brazil within the next 36 months at a potential order value of approximately SEK 25 million.

Agricultural production in Brazil during 2013 was worth 230 billion Brazilian reals. Only one decade late in 2022 this had risen to 830 billion Brazilian reals.* This continuing rapid growth is driven by a combination of improved land management, innovation and technical progress and rapidly expanding data driven technologies.

At the forefront of new data in Agritech is Elio Tecnologia, a company specialized in collecting and processing geo-referenced images using proprietary aeronautical technology. Collecting real data utilizing sensors in the field will enable optimisation of Elio Tecnologia’s algorithms and provide enhanced reliability for services to end customers.
