And this is the only positive I take away as a shareholder at the moment, the fact someone is aware of what is going on and willing to lend them a substantial amount of cash, especially as the shares cannot be issued until the accounts and prospectus is issued .
Sadly , none of really know what's going on until we get another update .
First step is for them to get back on the market, we can then all make the relevant decision in whether to sell up or stick around .
Hundred percent agree with this, no one is lending money unless they are convinced they will received their funds back.
As all have said, it's time they need to show progress and where the money is spent , get the share back listed as a priority
Fingers crossed we have a happy ending , I invested over 2.5 years ago now and been through the ringer with this.
They have had some misfortune but I also believe that Robbie has been less then honest in certain situations, the example being the interview just before suspension when he have a rather over optimistic view of the audit being completed and funding. Being honest and in hindsight I wish I sold out prior to suspension as I could have put my money to better use.
Being candid, if another company turned up where Robbie was the CEO I wouldn't touch it.
I have a lot tied up in GCAT and hoping we get out of suspension pretty soon and start to deliver on the plans and roadmap i.e. funding , expansion, vim rutha and Tanzania .
At the moment these seem further away then ever, I'm hoping the recent RNS was to let us know they are close on the admin stuff and tidying up ready for funding. I'm not expecting any good results due to downtime, what I do want though is results delivered in a timely manner.
Anyway, fingers crossed 24 is the year for GCAT . At the very minimum lets get back on the market so we can all make our decisions.
Let's hope Robbie proves me wrong, I will gladly eat humble pie when / if he delivers on his promises.
I haven't posted on here for ages as there really wasn't anything to talk about .
It's nice to see the update and new hires which gives confidence they are gearing up for a good year . The main thing it to get the accounts , paperwork, results etc out as Robbie suggest and start running the business properly.
I want this to become a boring company where no one cares about the backend and just sees producing at a decent margin.
Fingers crossed fy24 brings us some better fortunes along with GCAT.
Let's get listed, prospectus out and get the funding
Starting to look like a professional mine now, just need to catch up on the admin and other areas but appears to be heading in the right direction.

Good morning
@caracalgoldplc
stakeholders!
I am currently on-site at Kilimapesa Gold mine, bringing you lots of updates over the next few days.
Over the weekend, we hosted PKF auditors from UK on site as part of the final step in the ongoing audit— it was a successful visit.
Wishing everyone a great week ahead!

Yep, sadly we are in the dark on this but these small raises are annoying, still in q1 where they said the financing would be sorted so fingers crossed.
One thing that is interesting is no one is loaning money unless they have confidence in return for shares that are dependent on the prospectus.
It's a very fair point and we all want more detail, the good news we can take from the tweets in lieu of proper RNS is the fact they are buying/leasing more diggers, upgrades etc .
Whilst waiting for some more tangible financial updates I will take that as signs of life and hopefully progress. Fingers crossed over the next few weeks the company gives us something to talk about in a more positive light
Nice, another new digger arrived at site https://x.com/CaracalGoldplc/status/1747496501192908965?s=20

Certainly going to great lengths to con us, they appear to actually be mining and stripping with those cardboard diggers they picked up yesterday to keep the scam going.
Even posted a video of the pretend equipment in action

Hi JC,
I've been following gold and the trends/stories , a lot of ramping / deramping depending on the objectives on things like Kitco. One minutes it's going to the moon, the next day they are saying it's going to crash to $1600.
If $2000 becomes the base and the mining plane from GCAT holds up I'm happy with that, as you say the US and UK will start easing interest rates sooner then later. I believe the US will do it this quarter, my long term projections for gold this year are $2100-2200.
If war escalates in the Middleeast then that could go North pretty quickly.
