Namibia is a great place to go holiday. This area is not so great or developed. Best stick to the dunes, Cap Cross and Etosha in the north which is the same size as Belgium. Wildlife there is extraordinarily and you can drive yourself.

There is a lot of speculation in many of the recent posts as a result of a dearth of actual information from ATM itself. AVcould address this by simply releasing the current production numbers at Uis.

Furthermore he could explain why the production numbers projected last year have not been achieved and why and what he is doing about it. It is a pretty simple project management exercise. One pretty obvious measure would be to recruit an experienced delivery person with direct responsibility over the detail.

Until there is some accountability over production then the sp is going to continue to slide. Yes it’s frustrating but it can be addressed. There is so much opportunity with LR and BW!

Just as well something is flying. I don’t know what anyone else thought but AV was even worse today than ever before. No charisma, no sense of direction and no drive. It seemed he was trying to depress the share price more than raise it. I know he never seems very confident. Given that he does have great news and has done a good job getting LR and BW going , it all seemed downbeat.

Yes but the problem is that ATM are at some stage going to make a profit but when? AV has been less than forthcoming about the commissioning of the jig sorte. Yes they’ve been hit by the collapse in Li prices and the recent good news on BW and LR has not had a lasting effect on the price which is disappointing.

It will be interesting to see the Q4 figures as they should throw off some cash. I think we’d all be happy to see some tangible improvements instead of jam tomorrow.

I’m hoping we’re on the threshold of something big here and can’t quite figure how the share price sinks when they’ve received a payment of 10 m dollars.

Thanks td2. I agree. AV has plenty of incentive to add value. I do agree with others that comms could be improved but any offer for the company is likely to be depressed by the jigsaw not working

Share sales I believe result from the poor performance of the small cap Marlboro unit trusts. There have been a lot of redemptions and they (canaccord) need to balance up their portfolios.

They used to do well but the small cap sell off have hit them. I don’t take it as a particular sentiment towards ATM. But I could be wrong.

Complex situation. Lots of options in getting partners on board. Extraneous factors eg EU funding port. It’s going to take as long as it takes and doesn’t help to have people moaning about deals not being done. Do they have one partner or three, one for each licence? Best not giving any information at this stage. Be nice to have some warm words about progress but nothing concrete

Roads. There are few paved roads in Namibia but it doesn’t matter because there is no rain. The roads are perfectly fine to drive on at uk speeds. The population is small so the real issue is whether there is sufficient resource to provide the labour to work in the mine. Brand berg is not that far from Wlvis Bay, the main port.

It states there is no tarred road to Uis. True but the dirt roads are fine and it doesn’t rain. You see about one car an hour and it’s fine to drive at normal uk speeds. Easy to get to Wallis Bay. Namibia is a fine place to visit, and safe, which in my opinion puts it at the top of other venues in Africa.

I know lithium use in batteries is more important but I don’t think it’s widely know that it has been used as a treatment for depression. My daughter is undertaking research at Kings into its potential use in maintaining brain health post 55. Quantities obviously would be minor in terms of business opportunities.
