Morning Sj...I'm working on it, being excited again. Just passed 2 kronor for the second time in Sweden, that's showing confidence in what the Minister's promised. Some good reasoning from the folks here yesterday...I'm trying to post less because there are so many contributors these days so if I don't reply it's not because I'm ignoring you just keeping a lower profile.

Remember when the MI said..."weeks not months"...when the Sami were given an extended period to respond to a list of questions. When was that...must have been four years ago.

As you say we could be looking at two months wait now...which we've done how many times before; two months rumour mongering and bouncing, ramping and deramping. Question is can we do it again? Lol.

If she said that it was a really stupid thing to say; it's not a personal matter, it's a legal matter...would it be wrong for a Civil Servant to make it a personal matter?

PS Whatever it is that I revel in or am committed to...I'm invested here and you're not, which means my involvement on a daily basis is considerably less weird than yours is.

What did you expect me to do...there's a democratic government in Sweden. The previous Minister failed miserably to make this decision despite, promises and lies and there was a reason for that quite beyond my control or influence and I'd blame the PM for that. But Sweden now has new leadership and independent...it's a new start and unexpectedly good...so give him a chance.

Eric...You're post wasn't on my screen when I looked in earlier. I agree we have to shoulder it but also bear in mind that Kurt has made plenty statements about the Company's intentions towards all stake holders and his views must be well known by all concerned. It looks carefully considered to me not cowardly and negligent, not in the least bit. It's pretty nasty and abusive to say things like that about someone who has clearly stated he intends to take the necessary action with all haste (my words)...he should be given a fair chance to do his job without instructions from Ibjj.

It all depends on what you mean by "force", doesn't it? And whose talking about force? It seemed to me from the recent Debate between the Minister and Lars Hjalmared (for the Interpellation Committee) that they both had pretty much the same view about what the best outcome would be in the matter being discussed. That was only a 'feeling' by the way...the sort of feeling that people have who have feelings and clever people these days call it emotional intelligence. Maybe that isn't a direct answer to what you've said...but I always think there's a lot more to what is said that what appears to be said...in between the lines so to speak. And I can talk whatever stupid rubbish I like, thank you very much, it's a free country. And you can reply with your usual insults if you wish, same as Ibjj does.

Geraint I think the Sami people are really a lot more important to the Minister than the CEO of a Mining Company, they're citizens of Sweden after all and KB's only the CEO of a Mining Exploration Company. I don't think it matters that he's a British CEO because the mine would be Swedish in every respect.

Ibjj...You shouldn't accuse someone of doing something they haven't done, especially repeatedly. We should give him till March, preferable early March.

Also the KU Committee which is cross party is quite clearly pro-mining and they have the power to question the Government's actions in any matter.
